Sarah's Kabob Shop — Restaurant in Greensboro

It was a very nice experience, it was our first time there. We were impressed by the decorations from the front door to the outside on the backyard fence, there was a painting of a musical band for ancient Egyptians and other paintings. I liked the creative idea of posting a Pharo poster and the word (kings) on the door for the men's restroom and a queen poster for the women's restroom and the word (queens) on the door. I love such creative details. The decorations were amazing and the bathroom was very clean, it is something that I liked very much. We enjoyed the food, the food was delicious 😋 and in a large portion.

Just have 4 recommendations for the owners that you can take in mind and do in the future, I would love to see your restaurant exceed anyone's expectations for you to have this unique restaurant that's full of amazing details and the good space to be full at all the time.

First, I would love to see a special person who works as a waiter / waitress from the beginning to take the customer and let him/ her set to the table and handles the customer the menu and to be responsible for serving food with a good uniform and at the end gives him/her the check to pay.

Second I would love to see more unique Egyptian food. For example, stuffed vegetables with rice (mahshy), stuffed bread with meat (hawawshy). Every Mediterranean restaurant I go to has the same dishes, So cook and make new ones that make you special and what reflect the unique Egyptian cuisine.

Third, I would love to hear Egyptian or Arabic music, believe me it will add a different soul to the atmosphere.

Fourth, we tried the funnel pita it was not bad and not good, maybe you can replace it with another unique Egyptian dessert like rice pudding, creme caramel or churro in the Egyptian way (balah el sham) or another one.

Wish I could put higher than five stars, came here for the first time tonight with the only regret of not stopping by sooner. First of all, everybody there was just so nice, we felt welcomed like family!

Then, the food! We ordered an appetizer hummus plate and to be honest I will be dreaming about that hummus. It was served with a side of warm pita and my husband and I were fighting for the last piece (we will each be ordering our own next time!) I got the grilled chicken salad with a side pita and it was large enough for 2 meals, minimum! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, delicious!!

My husband got the chicken/beef Shawarma plate, with the same compliments and also just LOVED the house dressing! We got a side of fries, and I don’t know what they put on them, but as full as we were, we couldn’t stop eating them!

I had a great experience at Sarah's Kabob Shop! It was my first time eating there. As you walk in, they greet you and point you to the special of the day board. I ended up getting the steak and cheese. It came with a side salad, fries and a drink for $8.00. Not only was the price great but you got a good amount of food and IT WAS GOOD. As I ordered, I asked them if they had a house dressing and she said "yes, people rave over it." I had no idea what she meant until I actually tried it. It is a ranch mixed with some type of oil and OMGosh, IT IS GREAT!!! Now I know what she meant. Your food is served on a real plate with real utensils and they bring it to you at the table. I am not sure if you have to leave a tip but my party was so happy we left one on the table. I would totally recommend this to anyone.
