Garage Tavern — Restaurant in Greensboro

The service disappointed started when we walked in. Even though we were going to eat & stay for the music they charged us each $5 as a cover yet our friend who arrived about 30 minutes later weren't charged. We were told anyone with the tavern shirts could serve us. When we wanted to order they told us to wait for our server. Our server didn't seem like she wanted to wait on us and wasn't friendly. Yet with our friends the swrves where very friendly. When we asked for suggestions since it was our first time she suggested the pretzel & pizza. Never did she specify which and we ordered the Long Island . The pizza was not flavorful and a waste of 30 bucks. The pretzel was very yummy along w the cocktails. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experience was a complete letdown.

First off, the food and beverage service was painfully slow. The place was nearly empty, yet we waited over 10 minutes to receive our drinks. We had ordered beer, so all they needed to do was open the bottles and set them on the bar. After that, we waited another 30 minutes for our sandwich and quesadilla to arrive.

The staff was doing their best (honestly), but the regulars were keeping the bartender occupied with a very inappropriate conversation. This is definitely not a place that's friendly for women or children.

The ambiance was uninviting overall. For the price, I expected much better quality, and I won’t be coming back.

The kitchen is poppin But even when it's not The food truck delivers Nachos on the spot!
