Ordered lunch spicy beef and pork Pho, noodles were too thick for my liking ( although I have seen it served this way at other places), but the broth was good. Overall a satisfactory lunch bowl. It even came with a egg roll. Place was 80% full when I went in and was served quickly. There was a big round table at the end of the restaurant that had about 8 middle age Vietnamese men sitting around laughing and talking. Looks legit to me, however there are better bowls out there. I was not very happy with the vietnamese sandwich I order the last time I was there.
Edit.. Tried this place once again. Next time I need to read my own review first. When I walked in almost every single table that didn't have someone seated at it had dirty dishes on it. They whole time I was there, I did not see one table get cleaned off. I also wanted 25 min for my lunch. Will be my...
Read moreI want to preface this review with: the spicy beef and pork "pho" is not pho! Hence why it's served with different noodles. It's actually Bun Bo Hue, which is a different noodle soup dish. I assume it was listed under pho for convenience. It's also a wonderful choice.
I got pho chin (well cooked beef pho) and the bun bo hue takeout from here and it was wonderful. Like some other reviews say, the broth is slightly sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. It pairs wonderfully with some lemon or lime. The meat toppings and noodle portion are generous. They provide the noodles in a separate container so they don't bloat in transport. It's a little difficult to break up the noodles (less of a problem for the bun bo hue), but it turns out fine.
The food is great, the portions are large, what's...
Read moreI ordered delivery rare beef pho and a thai tea thru Grub Hub. The food itself was good, not spectacular or memorable though. The thai tea was good. I was disappointed that the rare beef was delivered in a plastic container with the broth, so it was far from rare when delivered; any other place would have packaged it separately. Similarly, there was nowhere for me to assemble the soup as the noodles/veg we're in a styrofoam container and the plastic container was nearly full (of broth/beef) -- neither container had room to mix both together. And of course no utensils were included. Ignoring the minor inconveniences of trying to eat delivery at a hotel, I've had better but I've also had much worse. I'd eat there again but it wouldn't be my first pick for vietnamese...
