The Corner Bar — Restaurant in Greensboro

If I could give zero stars I would. My friends and I wanted to go check Corner Bar out last night, my friend then walked over just to see if there were lots of people inside and then proceeds to tell her, for entry needed a MEMBERSHIP to get inside of the bar. I've never heard of having a membership to go inside a bar. Last time we went we didn't need a membership so why this time? He then turns us away but then allows 7 other Caucasian women into the bar but by just checking their id and letting them in. Never asking if they had memberships. We then stood across the street and watched the security guy turn away every black person that wanted to go into the bar. This place is racist and I will never spend my money here again. It's an establishment that you'd tell your grandparents you enjoyed.. They'd probably agree. It's been around for a minute... Or since UNCG became famous as an actual college... Either way... It's a place I like to go into to have a beer, play ping pong, pool, darts, karaoke, games or trivia or get hammered and be in good hands. Responsible bar tenders, great people and more importantly, an environment that everyone loves!...

Tonight we were denied entry because 2 people in our party of 8 had on sweatpants. The place was nearly empty and the large man working the door, who was IN SWEATPANTS had a nasty attitude the moment we walked in. He was rude and angry before any of us even spoke.
