We drive to Greenville, Ohio on Sundays and take our son and his family to the ASIAN BUFFET to eat. Normally, the food's good and staff is friendly. HOWEVER, today, everything was nice until we were standing up getting ready to leave. We were getting our newborn baby grandson settled in his car seat, when this obnoxious staff woman with a long ponytail started cleaning our table. She was SLAMMING down cups and plates and started wiping the table with so much anger that she wiped shrimp tails that had fallen off the plate when she slammed it down, onto our newborn grandson, who had been in Children's Hospital since birth and recently been able to come home. This was the 2nd time we've been able to take him out and eat. I told her in a nice voice that she had pushed food on our little baby and she said in a raised voice, "I Don't CARE!, and walked away talking about us to herself. I asked for the manager, but got someone who was not the manager but in charge. My son and I told him what she'd done and she comes FLYING down the ramp towards us, shouting in the foreign language and waving her arms around while openly glaring at us! I thought she was going to attack us! The supervisor aploogized, but she kept returning while we were trying to talk, and continued to display hatred and venom in a foreign language. A few customers who had come in to eat, said they would never go there again because they didn't spend their hard earned money to hear that vile person mouth off. They left as we were leaving. I want the manager to make amends for how horribly this obviously problematic person treated us. We spent almost $50.00 and there are many other places to eat without having to be subjected to what we were subjected to today. We DEFINITELY warn others to beware, because she didn't care that she put our grandson in harms way by her slammed tableware around and wiping the food off the table and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnce again, I need to talk about how google needs to give you a single use 6th star per category... this is my 6th star for Asian Food. I followed three cars into the shopping center... all three went to this restaurant. We were later in the day because we went to the Armstrong museum over in Wapakoneta in the morning... and only drove over here because the youngest REALLY wanted Chinese buffet... and this is the one we found online. It was nearly 2pm on a Thursday and people were still constantly walking into this place. Ok, good sign.
Sushi, Soup, Chicken, Beef, all of it good. I tried the sushi rolls because they had high turnover... they spent little time on the bar... and that is an odd food choice for a farming community. Excellent. I cannot say enough good things about the crab and cream cheese. I ate an entire plate of nothing but a variety of rolls... one was salmon which was ok, and one was crab and avocado, which was almost as good as the cream cheese.
For the bar, the pepper chicken is one of my favorites, but it was somehow better here. I tried several things, but the Pepper Chicken really stood out. I would swear in court that the crab rangoons are homemade... they are the best I have ever had. They have a Hibachi were they will cook your food to order in front of you if you like... but I ran out of stomach before I could try it.
I will confess... I was not a fan of the egg roll. However, there is so much good going on here no one will miss it if they skip it... I cannot say enough about this place. Looked like they had expanded to about four stores in the strip mall, so they had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my go-to for Asian Cuisine. They have an excellent buffet and hibachi grill. The food doesn't alternate much between visits, whereas I've been to buffets that change their menu every so often. The price is fair considering the quality of the buffet and hibachi grill. Most of the food is pretty good, and again, that is subject to change on your likes and dislikes. The staff is pretty good when I compare other Asian Buffet restaurants. They're there to do there job and more often than not, have a willingness to help. I don't think I've ever had my drink go empty without being offered a refill. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to add more variety. As it is, this buffet already has plenty of variety especially for being in a smaller town. Additionally, I wish EVERYTHING was labeled. If you're new to Sushi for example (I'm not), you may want to know what you're grabbing from the tray. Regardless, this has always been a great...
