Sadly disappointed by the food here. All of the women behind the counter were very friendly and helpful but the food just wasn't as rich in flavor as I was hoping for and craving as a latina from the island.
For me, the white rice and red beans was pretty bland and the stewed chicken was tender but the sauce was too oily. For that reason, it was NOT worth paying almost $15 (including tax) for that one plate of food. But you may have a different experience than I did, so give them a try. If it's your first time, maybe go during the week if they have lunch specials.
I really do hope that they improve the quality of their food because there are not many Dominican restaurants in this area so I wish them the best in...
