Original review: i was offered a complimentary meal so i went to retrieve and ended up buying another plate and they gained a customer lol I’ll be bringing the entire family next time! I was second guessing if i was eating meat or not lol nothing about anything tasted vegan it was definitely soul food tasting! I’m mostly whole food plant based. The customer service from this older lady amazing definitely makes you feel welcomed. Even the other customers was amazing vibes! I know y’all going to have to upgrade the space soon.
I had to update my review as i was reminded why i don’t go out to eat in Greenville anymore. Followed up with bringing my family in for dinner. I noticed none of the ingredients are listed on the menu and the pictures used don’t match what you actually get so i kept having to ask questions and there’s only one person who works up front and this only my second visit but i noticed that last visit too and they get way too much service to have one person running the register, taking order, getting food and trying to answer questions it was very frustrating! I kept having to wait then remind i was waiting but of course when you keep getting called everywhere you forget things. Even forgot drinks, straws and silverware as well as questions he had to leave in the middle of answering cause someone was ready to checkout or he had to get a order. The two options i was looking at to eat they was out of. I had to go out to the car by the time i came in my children was done with their food and still hungry. I seen online about the burger special so i said that’s what i would get so i thought but upon checkout he said it was a different price cause i got different sides than what the burger comes with. Also the prices on menu and what’s actually rung up are not the same still he said cause of tax but taxes are still added at the end so no that’s not it! But anyway there was a white couple beside us he offered them 15% off if they leave a review but didn’t offer me that and here i am updating my review because of that and other reasons but mainly that! I go out my way to support black business in Greenville and they go out there way to be more kind to white customers vs their own people. (Not all but the restaurants definitely ) I went thru this at a black owned restaurant down town as well as others that’s why i stop eating out in Greenville and also the fact the real vegan options are slim to none. A customer asked what the hot dog was made out of and was told tofu. And i was so disappointed to learn they are using soy based products with no label to warn those that don’t eat soy. No wonder our stomachs and head hurt now. The menu needs a serious upgrade to the pictures reflect the actual meal you’re getting as well as ingredients listed as well as disclaimer as well as at least 2 people up front! Unfortunately will not be back I’ll stick to staying home and knowing exactly what goes into my food I’m eating and not having to worry about being treated differently and some reason i still left almost $10 tip and...
Read moreWe visited Herbal Farmercy during a recent trip, and everything about this spot was a vibe. The menu was small, but every single option sounded so good it made choosing almost impossible. The staff was genuinely sweet and helpful. I can tell they care about the food and the experience. I met the owner and she was so sweet and welcoming. She also shared great information about their meal prep services!
We ordered the egg roll meal with mac ‘n’ cheese, dirty rice, and a side of fries. Our food came out quickly, looked amazing, and smelled even better. The portions were perfect. I don’t even like crispy fries, but these had just the right crunch while staying soft inside which was perfect. The mac ‘n’ cheese was easily one of the best vegan versions I’ve ever had, and the egg roll was PERFECTION. It held together the entire time (a first for me), and I officially refuse to accept anything less from now on. This will be a staple in my...
Read moreMy wife and I have been following THF on Instagram since before there was a permanent location, drooling over the delicious looking food, and we were so excited to finally be able to stop in for dinner - and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! My wife got the egg rolls with Mac n Chz and onion rings with a lemonade, while I got the plant based pasta (Mac n Chz base) topped with chick'n, black eyed peas and jambalaya for my sides and sweet tea. Both dishes came with an amazing honey mustard (my wife's was on the side for dipping her egg rolls while mine was already poured over the top.) Yum! We finished our meal with a piping hot sweet potato crunch which was so delicious! We will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!! Thanks Eugenia for helping make a tired couple's date night something special...
