Frodo's Pizza — Restaurant in Greenville

There is a difference between nostalgia and neglect. Sadly this place has crossed that line. There is such great opportunity here for a revived passion for this classic Greenville pizza joint. Parking lot and building exterior need a refresh. Carpet is dingy and lighting needs work. Again everything just need a refresh. Teenage staff are what they are, without active adult leadership they're going to sit around on their phones between giving you mediocre service - doesn't bother me, at least they have a job. Pizza is pretty decent, sauce is on the bitter side (low quality canned tomatoes crushed with their seeds perhaps) and there were probably more large air bubbles than one would normally see on a large pizza. Four claw grabber arcade machines is a bit excessive, something fresh and creative should be done instead. Greenville has a lot of great competition in restaurants and simply sitting by and relying on a nostalgic feel is eventually...

On 7/21/24 @ 6pm I spoke with frodos asking if they sealed the box for a delivery order. the guy said they did not. I politely gave the feedback they should & addressed my concern of how i received the pizza. the worker became passive aggressively combative & said after covid it was no longer a requirement. I advised him other businesses still do practice sealing orders & it would be good to implement, as it would prevent tampering & customer concerns. He then responded, "most ppl pick up their own pizza". horrible customer service & business practice. my pizza was shifted and the pieces were pulled apart as if it was tampered with. sealing the box would prevent that. also workers need to have better customer service when a customer is addressing their concerns. As a frequent customer for years I'm highly disappointed with the customer service I received & will seek business else where...

I am a white woman who lives in a predominately black neighborhood. I had nothing to do with the robberies and I should not be punished by not getting any pizza delivered to my area because of some idiots who robbed a gas station, a Waffle House as well as a CVS PHARMACY located on East North Street and may I say that those bandits might not even be from my neighborhood! You are discriminating and redlining where I live just because you think that BLACK PEOPLE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD WILL ROB YOU. What makes you think that the people who are robbing these places aren't caucasians or hispanics??? Thanks for being so prejudice.
