The Community Tap — Restaurant in Greenville

A long time personal favorite. The Community Tap boasts an amazing selection of craft beer, both on draft for on-site consumption and plenty of cans or bottles for take-home options. They also have a nicely curated wine selection in addition to some ciders or seltzers if that’s your jam. No kitchen, but they offer some small snacks or cheeses to accompany your drink - and they regularly have food trucks almost every evening.

Even with their awesome beverage choices, the crown jewel of The Community Tap is the staff. Always friendly. Capable of educating you without being remotely condescending. Exceptionally knowledgeable of their offerings. Zach, Neil, and Kelsey have never steered me wrong, and I wish I had the time and space to name every one of their staff.

The community tap is like family, I feel like every time I step through the door, I see a crew full of people who enjoy what they do for a living and they know everything there is to know about beer. If you have a question, they can certainly give you an answer and educate you at the same time !!The crew at Travelers rest is my favorite Anyone who works behind the bar is passionate in what they do for a living. They generally care about Helping you decide on your next drink and I do enjoy the samples to give me an idea on sampling the weeks new collection of beers. I'd been here before and knew Community Tap was awesome but I never knew that it's owned by the NICEST people EVER until recently when I got a flat in their back parking lot! The owners helped me through every step of getting my tire changed...they found a jack and jacked my car up, found a tire iron and took my tire off, took my flat to the closest used tire place and got a tire put onto my rim, brought back the "new" used tire and put it back on my car, and they did ALL of this just to help me out in my time of need when I was stuck with NO options to get my car moved or to get myself home. You guys are the BEST and I can NEVER thank you guys enough...you DEFINITELY have earned my business...
