I don’t typically post reviews unless they’re positive but honestly this experience left me so disappointed.. Was recommended this joint by a friend who knows a previous employee. Her experiences were nothing but positive so I had been quite excited to try this place. Seen it on TikTok and Instagram and the vibes seemed great! When I came in last Sunday my expectations fell so flat.. Staff seems miserable, kitchen is clearly under-staffed. Waited 45 minutes for pancakes and a breakfast burrito after having to stand around looking for a place to be seated. Do not plan on coming on the weekends; they will let you order dine in when there’s nowhere to sit. The girl at the register wasn’t knowledged about the menu or even how many eggs come in an order of scrambled eggs. Waited about 5-10 minutes for an iced latte that was honestly bitter and watered down. The quality of the food is great but it’s severely overpriced. The baked goods are made there and well priced, but their menu items are over priced and the staff is pretty unwilling to make substitutions or even ask the kitchen questions.

Pretty gutting to spend $50 on breakfast just for the staff to be unhappy, the latte bitter, and it took forever without much warning. In the future, please let your patrons know that you’ve A.) ran out of seating for the moment and they may have to wait for a table to be cleared B.) Have a wait on food longer than about 20-30 minutes.. What is basically a counter service cafe has been over complicated severely. Would have loved to be able to bus a table & find somewhere to sit instead of being told we’re not allowed to bus empty tables by employees.

As someone who has worked in the service industry for many years this is just bad business. This place has so much potential. The decor and atmosphere is great and their menu although limited is not bad! Their retail selection is unique and the quality of their food is great! Their front of house staff needs to be better trained and their kitchen desperately...

I was eagerly looking forward to checking this new breakfast/lunch cafe out! And really, what an adorable place it was! All of the patrons were so stylish and attractive, with their hours old cups of coffee sitting solo with their computers at pretty much every outside table (that normally generously seat six) on a glorious fall day…during the busy lunch period. It’s that kind of place.

Am I the only one that is frustrated with counter service with tipping options that START at 18%? (I know you can pick your own tip, but come on! Everyone can see!!) I put myself through college waiting tables so I’m not opposed to tipping after you’ve experienced the service, but now it seems to have morphed into something akin to bribery. I ordered a cafe americano, and the roasted turkey BLT wrap. The coffee was served in a cup and saucer, and had no evidence of espresso crema. It looked weak, and the cup so full that a good amount of coffee was in the saucer. That’s how they served it. The taste did not redeem. Suffice to say, the coffee is better at DD. The roasted turkey BLT ($14) was underwhelming, with the garlic aioli promised tasting like plain mayonnaise. Sadly, my bribe didn’t work.

I did like the opportunity to fill up a glass bottle at the self serve water station to bring to your table versus having to keep going back for a refill of your glass. Also, the real linen napkins are a nice touch, and served to blot the bottom of my coffee cup so I wouldn’t dribble on my clothing. Two...

I never leave reviews. But this was just a sad experience, I wanted a “ bowl” version of one of the breakfast items and when I asked the girl checking me out how much eggs are in there she said “ well however much go into the “ breakfast burrito”… so that didn’t help me ( I’m a first time customer here ), she could’ve said 1-2 eggs or so. Anyways I get my bowl and my chorizo is completely burnt on one of the sides. So I go up front to order me another side of eggs since that tiny piece of egg was not even a whole egg, I waited 21 minutes to get a side of eggs…. My coffee order was wrong, and when I went up front to the barista to get it fixed she was nice atleast about it ( the only good experience out of it all…” and to say the bowl was so tiny, for $17 I would expect a little more then that atleast two whole eggs, it was maybe 2 oz or chorizo if that, maybe like 1-2 tablespoons of black beans and sprinkle of cheese and not even a whole egg what it looked like, wish i took a picture to show that im not lying …. Anyways sad to say I wanted to like this place , but I have to sadly sadly say I prob won’t...

Vintage Coffee offers an exceptional atmosphere, quality food, and generally good service, which I have consistently enjoyed. However, I was disappointed during a recent visit due to a significant oversight. As someone who does not consume pork, I requested the turkey wrap without bacon, expecting the staff to accommodate my dietary preference. Unfortunately, my wrap still contained bacon when it was served. This mistake was disheartening, especially since dietary preferences and restrictions, whether for health, religious, or spiritual reasons, should be respected and properly addressed. While this has been one of the few negative experiences I've encountered at Vintage Coffee, I believe it is crucial for the establishment to offer more pork alternatives and to pay closer attention to such requests. Doing so would not only enhance the dining experience for all customers but also demonstrate inclusivity and sensitivity to diverse dietary needs.

Y'all! The fam and I went to the newly opened Vintage Coffee Cafe on E. North next to Mr. Crisp. The line was out the door which is to be expected for the third day open Once ordered, the food arrived in about 10 minutes. The customer service is wonderful, and it's now my favorite breakfast place! They have numerous different toasts--avocado, whipped ricotta, feta, goat cheese with peaches. Their brioche breakfast sandwiches are large and delicious with fluffy eggs. The hotcakes come with what tasted like a brown-butter caramel syrup that was to die for. I know we have a lot of coffee shops already, but this one sets itself apart from the rest!

Great food vibe and service. Large portions. The best, fluffiest cloud-like blueberry pancakes in town! Worth coming back to again and again! Pour over and black cup of coffee is flavorful and robust, doesn’t need milk! Breakfast burritos are huge and delicious. Very homemade. Cream cheese was whipped nicely and complemented the toasted cinnamon bagel. Açaí bowl was good but could’ve used more granola. Faro grain plate was fresh and carrots sweetly roasted and crunchy. Granola bowl had fresh fruit and granola. Bagels are loaded generously with cream cheese “schmears” that are so flavorful and fresh!
