I really struggled on this review as I used to own my own day spa. I was trying to be considerate but after a lot of thought, decided to post this as I was going to be a brand new customer at this salon. I am relatively new to the area as moved here more recently. I had made an appt. with Miranda and so upon my drive today I encountered a few unusual circumstances (road construction and and a 3 car accident) that put me at almost 15 minutes late. I was just a minute out, but wanted to alert them and the receptionist informed me "she won't have time to see you". Yes I get it, and if I had been a customer and had been habitually late, I would totally understand their situation, but I am not and usually don't arrive late. She asked me if I could reschedule and I told her I was leaving town early next week, so not able to do so with their current scheduling. I would have thought she might at least have talked to the stylist to let her know the situation, but she made the decision and so did I. I will not go there. I have sat for many a salon and nail visit for over 20-30 minutes waiting for an appointment and never said a word. I think the same courtesy should be extended as it was towards the end of the day as well. I wasn't getting anything elaborate, but just a partial highlight. It just made me have a bad feeling, so won't be going there...

Amber Quiroz absolutely changed my whole outlook when it comes to my hair. I came to her battered and beaten with burned, damaged hair to the point where I had "baby bangs". I haven't had bangs since I was in second grade if that gives you any perspective. My prior stylist had literally burned off the front of my hair while attempting a "money piece" and there's permanent color in places it should have never been. Amber took me in, assessed the situation and when I tell you I have never had a stylist be so GENTLE with my hair...down to how she PHYSICALLY handled my hair. She was honest about my situation and had a plan on how to get my hair looking good and being healthy again. It takes someone who really knows what they're doing....and TIME. Amber's knowledge of hair science is beyond amazing. I always look forward to my visits with Amber. She's so down to earth, incredibly easy to talk to and her scalp massages are INSANELY good. I've been seeing Amber for over a year now and I always leave her chair looking and feeling phenomenal!

I would give the salon 5 stars and give Miranda 10 stars if I could! When I moved to Greenville I did a lot of Instagram stalking of hairstylists to try to find someone whose photos had a similar vibe to what I was looking for and kept coming back to Miranda so decided to book her and within 30 minutes I already knew I had made the right decision. She was friendly, easy to talk to, knowledgeable about hair and made me feel instantly at ease. My hair looked and felt amazing and could not have been happier. I cannot speak to all hair types etc but if you have blonde/ long hair and are looking to remain blonde, go blonder etc she is 100% the best in town. I will admit I more or less took her/ bo stegal for granted because I knew I could always get a good cut/color when needed. Every single time I left feeling so confident and happy about how my hair looked. They are by no means cheap but you get what you pay for. If you care about the integrity of your hair you will definitely want to check them out. So sad that we moved away because my hair has not been...
