First off I want to say I LOVE Zaxbys and have always had a pleasant experience with them. I eat there at least once/twice a month.
On 1/21 I was in line to get the new general tso’s chicken. The line was long and there was also several cop cars at the Zaxbys as something was going on with some of the workers and someone who didn’t work there. I paid no attention to it. I sat in my car and eventually got up to order my food and eventually get my food. I got the boneless wing combo with the general Tso’s sauce.
I drove home and once there I started eating and noticed immediately the chicken was very cold. I will say tho, the fries were fine. The chicken was so cold I decided to call and ask if I could get it compensated as I couldn’t eat it. The manager was polite and told me I could come back now or another time to get a replacement meal. I was already over the entree and did not want to head back out. So I said I would come back later. She told me she wrote my name down and to bring my receipt. I said ok! Thanks as I assumed what ever happened with the cops made it difficult to maintain the orders and it was a small mistake.
Fast forward to today... I waited inline and once I got up to the lady I ordered the same thing and told her what the manager said. She then told me that I would have to give back the original meal... WHAT??? It’s almost a week later and she wants the original meal I threw away? I am so confused as I am sure she did not tell me that and also that is just gross. They tell me I can speak to her about it and so I do.
Once I get to the window she then tells me that she will comp my wings but not my drink or my side. I have never experienced a manager so stubborn. It ended up paying the $4 instead of the $7 that the full meal would’ve been. I am so happy that this manager feels that this is true customer service. I was honest and open from the beginning and I feel this manager didn’t want to hear me out or believe me. I was so baffled. The even funnier thing is I never got my drink and the wings were still cold. Not as bad as the first time...but still meh.
I really hope this is not how Zaxbys trains their managers and that she was just having a bad day. Congrats on...
Read moreWe went in to this establishment this evening well after dinner rush, being there were only two other families in the dining area. The girl at the cash register was very nice and took down our order as intended. One grilled chicken sandwich combo normal and one grilled chicken sandwich combo with only lettuce and cheese on the sandwich, we asked for bbq on the side for the fries. We received our food my sandwich was correct but the other had bbq on the sandwich when we asked for it to only be on the side. At this point it was no big deal.
I went to the counter where one girl was fixing more sweet tea and explained to her the situation, she stated no problem I will get you a new one. They a gentleman at the cash register asked me what was wrong were I proceeded to tell him the same thing, he gave me a perplex look. Then the original girl that took the order came up and asked what was wrong so again I explained the situation. No problem she said I'll bring you a correct one in a moment. So I went back to the table, 30 minutes later still no redo sandwich. At this point the other sandwich was eaten and we were ready to go.
When we left, with one of us still hungry, we did not say anything else to the workers due to the fact we were already beyond frustrated. Not to mention when we got up to leave all the girls in the kitchen had their backs turned to us and as we step out the door the gentleman that had the perplexed look on his face either said have a good night.
Needless to say we will not be returning to this establishment for a long time and will make sure everyone knows about how once they get your money they don't care if they prepare something...
Read moreWe had two seperate orders, one with 2 nibblerz no sauce and the other with 2 nibblerz with spicy zac sauce and coleslaw. I drove all the way home and when we got there, we realized that one container literally had a half eaten sand which in it. I call and the manager was polite and says we could bring it back and have it replaced. When I got back, I came in with the most polite attitude and was even laughing but then they made it seem like it was the biggest deal in the world to have the entire order remade. Saying comments like “we shouldn’t even be doing this.” After that, we checked the order in the car and it was made wrong so my roommate went back inside. She caught the employees talking negatively about us having the order remade. Then they gave her an attitude for her asking to remake it the correct way. She felt embarrassed because the employees made her look bad in front of customers and it resulted in her announcing that she was given a half eaten sand-which. It was super rude and unprofessional, when handing the food to us, they said “here is your food AGAIN” in a contradicting voice when in the first place we were given a literal half...
