I had a great experience at onefold at one of their downtown locations however my experience at this location was very disappointing. If you have any dietary restrictions I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito and asked for the vegan option as listed on the menu because I do not eat eggs or dairy. The burrito was brought out clearly with egg and cheese in it, and I let the waitress know that I had ordered it vegan. She told me that they didnāt have vegan, they only had vegetarian and I told her it was on the menu and she straight up told me that it wasnāt. She told me the best she could do was to take the burrito back and take out the egg and cheese. I said I would just do it myself as at this point it felt difficult to trust the service. I flagged down the manager who was walking past a bit later in the meal just to let her know, and she told me that the waitress had let her know and offered to make me a new burrito. My table had already finished their meals so instead I accepted her offer to comp the meal. She provided some excuse about how itās difficult for the kitchen to make substitutions. I felt that if she had been notified of the situation, she should have offered upfront to make a new burrito and why would they offer a vegan option on the menu if the kitchen cannot accommodate it. I had to seek the manager out again to confirm that the meal had been comped since you order before sitting down and she had not given us any confirmation. She said she took care of it and I pointed out the vegan option on the menu since our server had told me there was no vegan option on the menu. She then gave a different excuse of their ordering software restarting or updating the night before. There was no apology or accountability taken and no consistency in their reasoning. If I had more severe allergies this couldāve been a much bigger issue. The rest of my table enjoyed their meals and I have enjoyed the vegan breakfast burrito at their other location but the staff here really could not have cared less about the situation. I also have yet to be refunded for the meal so essentially no steps were taken to rectify...

Iāve been to the other Onefold location and had great experiences, but this one⦠yikes. Letās just say the manager on duty that day could use a crash course in Customer Service 101.
Last weekend, I tried ordering online for pickup, but website wasnāt working. Fine, no problem, Iāll just swing by and order in person. Greeted by a super-friendly young guy, placed my order for two items: congee and fried rice. Easy, right?
Then⦠I waited. And waited. And waited some more. Forty-five minutes later, still no food. They were busy, sure, but not āBlack Friday at Best Buyā busy. I asked someone at the coffee bar where my order was, and they brushed it off with a ājust wait.ā Ten minutes later (so now weāre hitting the 50-minute mark), I asked the same guy who took my order. He checked the kitchen, came back looking like either (a) they had just started making my food after my 40-minute check-in, or (b) it had been sitting in the kitchen quietly growing cold and lonely.
I said, āIf itās not made yet, just cancel it.ā He apologized (props to him for actually caring). Then comes who I assume was the manager, not in uniform, but wearing an expression that screamed āIām too busy to deal with you.ā Instead of apologizing, she asked me (in a condescending tone) when I placed my order. I politely told her, āAlmost an hour ago,ā and even showed her the receipt. She said nothing. Just kept doing⦠whatever she was doing.
Another staff member overheard and comped my whole order, which was a nice move and definitely helped my mood. But the manager? She needs a reality check ā take responsibility, support your staff, and be courteous to customers. Leaders lead; they donāt hide behind their team when things go wrong.
To the owners: Please, for the love of your reputation, train your managers to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDined in 10/10/2025 for the first time and my experience was divine. As a Latina, I have a refined palette for Mexican cuisine, and let me tell ya - their breakfast burrito with vegetable green chili had me both fully satisfied and wanting more! Talk about needing to exercise self control! For drink I ordered a chai which was definitely high quality, however I have unfortunately acquired a preference for it on the sweeter side (which is hard to find when you like something both sweet and healthy). But the staff was incredible - they offered to make me something else but I opted for a refund which they were happy to process immediately for me. I even had the pleasure of meeting the director of marketing and sales who was an absolute gentlemen when inquiring about my experience. You can tell this restaurant strives to please and they have all definitely done so today. From ordering, to receiving our food, to the lemon water (my next best after chai) and the stunning views; all in all I had a wonderful time here. It's a great place for catching up with friends, or for a business casual meeting. Will definitely be returning for all occasions! To Onefold and the team, thank you. Job...
