Updated 1/14:
My mom and I visited this location to spend her gift cards. We ALWAYS have a good time and are treated well. We always tip our servers well also. We're talking $20+ Everytime. This last time our server (Mother of 5 and was somehow able to afford a trip to an exotic island without her kids, there on her day off) was super rude to us once she THOUGHT she was going to get a small tip because my mom went to use her gift card she got for Christmas. Our mistake may have been asking to ensure we would be able to run it at the table, which we could. Now we may not have looked as fancy as everyone else but we work warehouse jobs and had just got off a long day shift. However we are extremely hurt to receive such prejudice over a simple question about using a gift card.
The actions that lead us to think this are: -She made sure to enforce that only my mom was allowed to have salad since I ordered soup. She enforced this several times and was openly upset I also didn't want salad. Anytime I needed my soup refilled it was like pulling teeth to get her to do it. As soon as a Father and Daughter came in dressed in a suit and nice dress she turned on her most bubbly self and continued to be monotone and rude to us while super bubbly and happy with them. -She basically threw our take out containers at us instead of putting our food in it like they always have. When we asked for a bag she acted like we had asked her to run a marathon. Mind you we were right next to the server area. -Any time we asked something we were met with immediate animosity. She even tried to guilt us about our selections.
Please. Send this woman back to training or something. This is not how you treat people. I don't care if she's done this for years. She doesn't know how to treat paying customers. We will not be dining in anymore due to fear of being put back in her section....
Read moreI usually like the food here. Havent been in a while and decided to take my college aged daughter out for dinner. With the wife and two other little ones. The server was more concerned with the bridal party at the big table and they all wasnt there yet. Waited for a while for him to get our drink orders and even longer for the food order. I get people get busy but he was all over the larger group mainly because larger groups tip rather well. Especially bridal groups. However when our salad finally came I opened the silverware to find dirty silver where. Both a knife and fork with food left on it. I waited for a chance to get his attention. While my appetizer was getting cold. He gave me another set of silverware. And again I found and even dirtier fork in this roll. I guess 3rd times a charm. Finally a clean set. We waited a long time for out food. Daughter was happy with her dish, my sons pizza was soggy he did retire us another that was better pizza. My dish was the seafood alfredo. The outer noodles were dried up from sitting heat light too long. At this point I was already there an hour and half and wanted to get the visit over with. I have never had a visit like this before this one. Maybe I'll get a better one next time. If not I cant say I'll go back. Spending 139 bucks is not worth it. I did tip the guy but the 15% he got would of been way better if visit was better. My mom was server when I was growing up so I'm usually a good tipper and have to at the very least tip 15%. I may wait for an endless deal before returning in order to get money's worth...
Read moreIf there’s an option of Zero star I would rate it with a big zero. For more than six years I’ve been going to the Olive Garden in Greenwood at least 4 times a month. I loved the previous manager who is now retired. Today 8/31/25 I went to Olive Garden with my family as usual. There was that young tall and blond lady I’d rather not mention the name because my goal is to talk about her unprofessional behaviour while working as our server today. Instead of taking our orders and going find something else to do she decided she wanted to have conversations and talk about her personal life and tastes to my husband in front of me, our son and another family member- She acted unprofessionally and was entertaining herself with my husband, right there in front of his family. Her physical beauty was not the problem because many times we’ve had pretty ladies even more beautiful than her taking our order and working as our server, the problem again is that she acted like my husband was the only person at the table, so I felt very disrespected. I called the manager who said he was sorry about my experience but didn’t say anything about taking any actions regarding to this matter. I will never come back to Olive Garden restaurant in Greenwood. If you’re going to a night club you know what you’ll find there but going to a restaurant where most of clients are family groups you do not expect such behaviour from your server. Hope nobody else goes through this experience...
