When I went through the drive thru the person working who name is Yaritza Herrera came up to the window took my debit card then proceeded to walk away with my card and what looked like writing down my info off my card. After about 2 min she comes back and processes my card though there Macine at the drive thru. She then handed back my card. I ask her why she walked away with my card and was writing my info down. She then proceeded to act like she did not understand anything I said to her. I asked for a Manger and she just said no. I asked if there was someone who spoke English that can help since all she kept saying was no to every question I asked, even when it was not a yes or no question. She went and got her co worker named Abraham Gimenez and he said that only one transaction went through there system. I explained that was not the issue. The issue is why did she walk away with my card and start writing down information. He said I don't know. I asked again why did she walk away with my card? He said o she was helping me. I replied I don't understand why they needed my card to help him do something. I asked again for a manager and he said there is no Manger. He then said if I think she did something wrong I should check my banking app on my phone and let him see and asked me to show him my phone. I said no I not showing you my phone and he needs to call a manager because this is unacceptable. He then called a manager Rosa Jimenez. She asked me if I had a issue with my order and I explained what happened and she made up some story about hiw the card reader was not working so she went to the front card reader and it did not work then went back to drive thru card reader and it magically worked. Still dose not explain why she was writing my card info done. I still don't feel like this was resolved and will be checking my account for fraud but use caution when using credit or debit card at...
Read moreI hate to leave a bad review because I usually love taco time I get the veggie burrito no sour cream & whole wheat tortilla. This location though.. wow. Everyone who works here is nice. I will give them that. I have been here 2 times in person and ordered once via delivery. In person the restaurant was not clean and it seemed like one person was doing everything but you can’t see the kitchen at all like in most locations. All 3 times the food ranged from slightly to overwhelmingly gross. There’s a slimy quality to something— I can’t quite place it.. wet lettuce, almost expired salsa, everything tastes old or slimy and has a consistency like if someone spit on it (not saying that happened, it’s just slimy and adds to the visceral experience) The food we got ordered was so extremely slimy it was inedible and a waste of $40. One of the burritos was torn open (?) the tortillas were not taco time tortillas, and for fun I opened one and used a paper towel to soak up the usual gross wet stuff from the lettuce, literally soaked the napkin and was STILL slimy. At this point no one wanted to eat the food, our appetites were totally ruined. I should also say that 3 out of 4 times I ended up sick the next day with “wow something was off with that burrito” type symptoms if you get my drift. Apparently I’m either wanting to give places too many chances or a glutton for punishment. But I won’t be...
Read moreWent it. Only one there. Order a soft beef burrito. Cashier mumbles something in Spanish. I apologize, telling her I didn't understand her. She asks in difficult-to-understand English "Crispy or soft". I repeat "soft". She asks if I want just beans or beef. I repeat "beef". She rings up the purchase, I slide my card into the credit card device, get payment confirmation, and the message to remove my card. Slide it back into my wallet, and I start to walk away, and she says "Need to pay."
I tell her I thought the payment went through. She taps the screen and says "tap for chip". So I tap this time. Payment goes through. Again.
Get home, get a text message from credit card company questioning the double-charge. Credit card company won't doing anything until "I attempt to resolve it with the merchant". Sure. I'm going to do an hour & half round trip to ask them (with my one receipt for one payment) to give me a refund when I have no proof, so I can hear the "manager" tell me there's nothing...
