Updated review 10-31-24: I heard that this location was under new ownership a year or 2 back so I decided to give it another chance. I've gone back over the last 1 to 1.5 years maybe 5 to 8 times and since changing owners the pizza and original sub has been great! Back to what I know and loved with great service. One improvement is the subs are always freshly made now compared to the old days when I used to buy them premade out of the cooler. Today I spoke with the owners and praised how well things have improved. I also tried something new, the cheesesteak sub, oh boy, it was fantastic! I recommend you give the new owners a chance! Original review from 4 years ago below: Tried this place several times. Everytime they have served burned cold pizza. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. It's very obvious that you're not doing a good job with your core business and don't take feedback if you keep doing the same thing. The fact that the owner is onsite and serving this poor quality pizza is very disappointing. As a resident, I want to support local businesses but these local resident owners have no pride in thier product. On top of the poor quality product, the service isn't really good and the staff is less than friendly. AVOID this place. Go down the street to Momma Rosa's and get a quality pizza every time. Too bad for this place, Buscemi's is usually something I enjoy as it brings me back to my childhood 😔

I found this place to be a bit on the greasy side and if you are vegetarian, you have few options. They don't even do a slice of cheese pizza. I got the garden salad which was $8 if I recall. It was all iceberg lettuce with some tomatoes and processed cheese thrown in. Maybe this is the place to go for meaty subs and big pizzas, couldn't tell you. But that salad was sad, thus the score.

OFFICIAL SANTA REVIEW: HO HO HO! Merry Christmas everybody! HO HO HO! I stopped here during Christmas night to get a quick slice and it was pretty good! An authentic Detroit slice to be sure, it was so good I even brought back a few slices for the elves! Buscemi gets 4 Christmas stars! Merry Christmas! (this has been an official Santa review from the real santa Claus)

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Things have changed in this place. I decided to give it another try, because I was desperate on my way to work. The place has changed. The "Detroit" style pizza is the way to go! They also finally accept credit cards! It use to be Cash only. I not sure what these other reviews are talking about, burnt and crispy...I buy just the slices are they are made perfect. I would highly recommend that you give it a try again. I have NO affiliation with this business, I just know things have changed and its a good thing! The new decor inside the place is awesome. Sports Jerseys everywhere...Great...
