The owner, Charlie, has no idea how to treat customers. Arrogant and entitled in the midst of a pandemic. As we endured slow service waiting on our 2nd drink he thought it appropriate to ask us to leave so that he could add a four-top to our space; suggesting that I take my drink to go in a plastic cup. He stated that there was a time limit (we were there one hour and others were there before us) and he had other options for the reservation! I counted at least 2 tables and noted, as we left, that his reservation never showed. If there's a time limit, have faster service, place a little card on the table so that everyone knows, have the wait staff communicate this - do something, anything, other than kick out your paying customers. I see that the owner is new to the restaurant business. Go learn from someone who can show you how it's done. There were plenty of other options other than the path you chose. Service is excellent, and on our first actual visit, (we had gotten the charcuterie board to go and the pork loin for our anniversary), and it was so elegant for carry out, it was the perfect anniversary dinner, with the limited choices we had during the stay at home order.
On this occasion, we sat and met friends we hadn't seen in 3 months. We felt perfectly safe with our server wearing a mask.
