I got a pub burger and garlic dry rub wings for my wife.

The professional staff here are focused on their work.

The pub burger was delicious (basically a bacon cheeseburger) I ordered it medium rare and it was still pink when I was late to pick it up. The garlic dry rub wings were also well cooked with just the right amount of seasoning, my wife loved them and she is picky about wings and doesn't like anything too spicy.

What stuck out the most to me were two details: the fries are made from real potatoes, which means they don't look incredibly handsome like frozen packaged fries but they are so delicious.

What made me want to write this review was the tinfoil they use to like their styrofoam to go containers. I can't stand hot food burning into styrofoam, much less my own, and to see that they work with that detail means a lot to me. The styrofoam to go container means they're trying to increase their profit margins but the tinfoil lining for hot foods means this doesn't come at the expense of the customer, this is the first time I've seen a restaurant line their hot foods with tinfoil before putting it on styrofoam, normally my food burns pits into it which I find unappetizing.

UPDATE: after trying to get ahold of the bar multiple times I have now been charged $60 for my two drinks because the receipt I was told is voided never got taken off my account.!The bartender (Andrea (not sure if that’s how it’s spelt) Friday 10/24) was drinking on shift and couldn’t handle a 2 drink tab. I got charged $40 for a 2 mixed drink tab (2 Jameson ginger ales) and got griefed for asking why my tab was so much. 18.50 was my final tab of the night after discussing I had two drinks and this was unreasonable. I firmly believe this bartender was drinking on shift and firmly believe she should no longer have a job at this location. I try my best not to leave bad reviews or complain but this was actually outrageous. This place has soooooooo many yrz of memories for me. IT WILL ALWAYS SULLY'S 2 ME. ALSO THIS BAR IS LIKE CHEERS 2 ME. All U PQ Swamp Yankeez knwz Wazup..This Pub Has good a sm but food menu & friendly. Especially when u get to knw the Yolks lmao.😂. I miss the Hubba Burger w/ bacon..but different owners & menus changed. Just like ppl & faces as yrz go by.
