Had the worst experience at Braums tonight. Even though they were busy and it was parade night I feel like they could have done better. When placing my order in the drive thru I was informed that they were out of French fries and would have to substitute for yogurt which was fine. I paid for my order and pulled forward. I seen my three shakes waiting on the drink station one small chocolate a jr chocolate and one jr strawberry. We waited and waited. I was concerned that our shakes would begin to melt. I waved and tried to get someone's attention. I waited probably 3 minutes until someone finally came over. I asked about my shakes and she handed them to me. The cuts were messy and so asked for napkins which she handed me as well. She then asked if that's all that I was waiting on. I informed her that no we had not gotten any of our order. She proceeded to make my husband's large coke and went to get my kid's kid's meals. A two piece chicken strip and a jr burger along with my number 1 combo and my husband's salad. She handed me the kid's meals then my husband's drink and my combo, or so I thought. Then she handed me my husband's salad and I had to ask for dressing and a fork. She brought those to me. I pulled forward and started handing out the food to my kids and husband. I then realized that we had not received spoons for our yogurts. So I went in to get those. When I came back out I checked my bag one more time to make sure I had everything. I did not receive my yogurt. Again I went inside the store. I got the attention of the girl that waited on us in the drive thru, a reddish haired girl in a Santa hat. I told her that I was short a yogurt and that I had needed three but only got two. She proceeded to toss three yogurts on the counter and when I grabbed one she got snippy and said you just said you needed 3. When I repeated what I said she said alright or something to that effect with an attitude. I left and headed down the road. My husband went to open a yogurt and told me it didn't look right. It didn't it had the same consistency as milk. We spent $32 and some change around 7:30 in the evening on food in the drive thru and this was our experience it is deeply disappointing. Our hot food wasn't even hot or warm. I realize they were busy but her attitude and lack of concern/care in her job just ruined it more. Even though a person might not get paid the most or have the most glamorous job, they should take pride in their job. We won't be back to...
Read moreIf I could give this a zero based on service alone I would. I have family in Grove and have been a Braum’s fan for over 30 years, but my last few experiences have been a service nightmare. The other times I had not written negative reviews because I wanted to give them another chance. Today’s small order took over 45 minutes to get correct. It was about 35 minutes before they called our order number and then told me our order was so late because the shake was not made. I asked the manager on duty why this store has been having so many issues lately. Her response was not enough employees. There were 10 people working behind the counter! The boy taking orders literally left the counter to walk around and chat to workers not behind the counter a minimum of 5 times. In addition, after telling him twice how I wanted one burger- nothing but meat cheese and extra pickles- he still put it in incorrectly, so our order was wrong after waiting 35 minutes. Our issue was not the only one. After we had been waiting 15+ minutes it was clear that this whole ordeal was happening to multiple people around us too. What happened to the efficient Braum’s that I know? They were completely disorganized, and employees were not addressing current orders. I left extremely frustrated. I have only written one other negative review in my life and it was not Braum’s or in Grove. Today was just completely ridiculous. Please prioritize your current patron’s orders, improve your systems’ to increase efficiency, and remind your employees to pay attention to the orders they are taking instead of socializing with their friends...
Read moreThis location gives Braums a bad name. Disrespectful and careless highschoolers are running this place into the ground. Stop hiring children who don’t care or clean the place at all. After my last nightmare of an experience, I go to McDonald’s instead because the staff are actually kind, clean, and get my order right. And that’s mostly because they don’t hire 16 year olds that don’t give a crap. Last time I went to Braums the child of a manager laughed to his coworkers saying “you know you’re gonna have to remake this” and proceeded to hand me the food anyways. And when I came inside for a refund he admitted he messed up the orders before and after me too. I get its fast food, but for even the manager to behave like this is ridiculous. Alyssa, another manager tried calling me to speak about it and in her voicemail she couldn’t sound more annoyed about having to do so, so I didn’t even bother calling back. This whole place needs a change of attitude and management. Needless to say, I won’t ever...
