Drove from Wichita KS to Grove Oklahoma today and stopped at this no frills diner today Jan 3 2024 wow to my Surprise what an excellent lunch I got one of many specials. The fried catfish it comes with an incredible three choice of sides. I got fried green beans broccoli and cauliflower salad cucumber and tomatoes salad. All made fresh in house and you're choice of drink. It was freaking increadable. Then the sweetest woman ( the waitress ) and I am so sorry I did not get her name. Bought out the best chocolate cake that came with this amazing lunch for ( like stealing) only 9 dollars. The fish was fried perfectly. The tarter sauce was spot freaking on. The side salads was better than any grandma ever made. Thank you Edward Weyer and Gracie for shareing this little spot of heavenly food. Trust me on this if you are ever in Grove Oklahoma. Small town diner that clearly values its customers. Our group of nine visited for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Although place was hopping, the servers immediately set up tables for us and made sure we were comfortable. There was an ample menu selection and the prices seemed reasonable. Our orders arrived quickly, with no mistakes - surprising with such a large group. The food was delicious, and there was more on our plates than we expected, considering the prices. One young lady initially took our orders, but the other servers worked as a team throughout our visit to make sure everyone had refills on coffee, water, and even soda! Nice resturant, very busy. Service was good, we did have to wait or ask for drink refills and silverware our 2nd visit. I would have given a 5 star review except both times I ordered the steak and egg breakfast my steak wasn't cooked as ordered. I always order my steaks medium. Both times my steak was pretty much rare and bleeding. I managed to eat some of it the first time as they were busy and I don't like to complain. The second time I did ask to have it sent back to cook until medium. It came back well done and tough. I will return as everything else was very delicious. I won't be...
