KFC — Restaurant in Groveland

Listen, I gain nothing from this review, I don't even live in Florida. I also "do not" normally eat at KFC, at all, or fast food period for that matter. However, my father in law wanted some chicken so I drive him there. We ordered 5 8pc buckets to go, and got some chicken and strip to eat while we waited.

For one, service for a fast food restaurant was awesome, the staff was kind and accommodated our requests with no issues. I noticed one employee start work while were waiting. She clocked in, and got right to work, cleaning the lobby and making sure everything was good to go. The only knock was the drink dispenser machine that spayed the soda everywhere but the cup you had in your hand. Otherwise, again, I despise fast food, the locations, and most employees who act their wages. This KFC location is alright with me. I can only speak for my one drive through experience. We stopped by last night to grab a quick meal as I drove my son to spend the weekend with his Uncle. We literally sat in the drive through line for 36 min before finally getting our food. So much for “quick”. I get that this happens. It was very busy both inside and out, and the employees were doing their best, so while it was inconvenient, it was understandable. What was not understandable was the fact that they shorted us six wraps, $15 worth. Of course I wasn’t made aware of this until I had already dropped my son off with the food and was on my way back to Crystal River, which is over an hour away. Of course they couldn’t credit my card for the amount I was shorted unless I was there with my card. I get being busy and having to wait for the food, but it’s unacceptable that they can’t even get the food ordered into the bags. I do have to add that the employees were very friendly and...

I don’t usually leave reviews however I am hoping this reaches the owner of this franchise. I ordered dinner online and my husband picked it up. We were missing several items. Every tender box we got had half piece tenders in it. the nugget box had a couple nuggets in it and The rest were torn in half small pieces of a tender. Every time I called the call was ended like it rang and they hung it up. So I drive there to get what’s missing No manager on duty. 3 people working. The employee tells me that happens about the tenders 😂 Didn’t hear the phone ring not even once. I was given what was missing thankfully since what we received was in no way going to fill up my kids. He didn’t care that we literally got 1/2 sized chicken tenders and I most certainly was not going to spend more money buying those tiny pieces.
