Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Grover Beach

It's very clean the people that own and work it are excellent people the food " Mexican ", is the best I have eaten anywhere around the central coast area and I have been all over trying to find good Mexican food because it's my favorite. All the people I have referred to Jalapenos which is quite a few absolutely loved the whole experience were alot of these other places might have one or two items that are good, everything I have eaten and the people I referred said the same " it's really good ". It's handicapped assessable in the parking lot in the back of the building. They are set up to comfortably seat a group of 10 to 12 people + another two groups of 6 and 8 + still sit the 2 to 4 people in the booths they serve various beers and best of all an ice cold mug to go with it. They also have good margaritas I have not heard or experienced anything bad or negative at this establishment quite the opposite really try it you will thank me for the info and have a nice inexpensive place to go relax or a great place to entertain family,friends, and loved ones....

The food here is good but it would be nice to get some friendly service, The Waitresses seem to have attitudes. Three of us go there for lunch occasionally and when we asked for to salsa for our chips they say we can't have it, just doesn't make sense. What kind of Mexican restaurant won't give you salsa if one person goes in there they get a basket of chips and salsa if two people go in there they get a basket of chips in 1 salsa if 3 people going to get one basket of chips and one salsa. Why can't three people get two little cups of salsa. Pisses me off. One time we went in with 8 people and they wouldn't give us more than three Salsas and three baskets of...

Jalapeños is gauging people in their prices and claiming “Covid”. Ordered three dinners and sides and they are so CHEAP they would not give us more than one small salsa per dinner, when spending $85.00. RUDE and not customer friendly, previously in another order they put pork in a chicken burrito and when asked to remake or refund called my niece a “Karen” and hung up on her. Going to Tacos De Acapulco for now on! Food is better, Prices are MUCH better and staff has EXCELLENT customer service!!! Bye...
