Came here -3 people. Ordered tamales 1 green one red . They were the worst tamales we have ever had. Zero flavor, tasted like corn meal with sour cream on it. aprx. 1/2 lb of corn meal and two or 3 very skimpy pieces of chicken. Did not eat more than 1/2 - just pathetic and they were served cold. The ice cream was decent. Mom loved her strawberry and cream , husband had caramel , it was not bad, not a lot of caramel flavor but the cone was good. They had all kinds of pictures of things that looked like they would be good to eat but did not offer any of these items. They have no paper menu , they expect one to look at what they have on a phone. We don't use stores for this because the wifi is not secure. So we had to guess at what to order, this is a bad practice , had we not been with elderly mother we would have left. We have left other places that do not want to assist their customers. The music was way too loud for anyone to actually hear and have a visit. When asked, they did turn it down But when asked again they ignored it. The music is supposed to be for the atmosphere and not dominate and over load the place. We might go here for ice cream but definitely Not for the food. And if they keep the poor menu and music policy we will not be back and will take guests...
Read moreIf you want Ice Cream, this is a worthwhile stop. They have many flavors of heavy cream ice cream, gelato, and sorbet-like. I had a single scoop of caramel on a waffle cone. $6.50 was a little steep but it was good and a better price than the place in AG village. If you are looking for food, don't bother. No printed menu. Got a tamale (reheated) and it was pathetic. The service was just ok, not much enthusiasm from the workers. The atmosphere was a noisy ice cream shop with bad food, tired furnishings, and loud mariachi music. Thinking about it, it reminds me of the noisy tourist spots that service the cruise...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. I was standing at the counter, clearly waiting my turn, and the staff completely ignored me. They went on to help someone else who had been waiting there aside me, and it wasn’t until that customer pointed out that I was in line that the staff finally acknowledged me. Even then, the woman behind the counter asked if I was “in line,” as if I hadn’t already been standing there waiting patiently. It made me feel overlooked and uncomfortable. Definitely not the kind of service that makes you want...
