Their service was horrible and put us in a bind. They “catered” my grandma’s gathering after her funeral service. They over-promised and under-delivered. We ordered links, brisket, banana pudding, and chicken but was only given chicken since they “burnt” the brisket. What happened to the links and banana pudding though? Groves is my hometown and we feel honored to have this "historical" restaurant in town. I can remember my parents to get in the car we're going to Port Arthur to pick up Monceaux's! And thirty years later the grandson and his wife opened it back up. Whenever I'm home I eat there four days a week. I get their fried shrimp, it's the best I've ever eaten and I challenge you to find better and if you do I'll pay for your meal! Love...

I stumbled across Monceaux's on the internet and remembered eating the crab burgers frequently in the 70's at the original location. I wanted to see if they were like I remembered.
