Dnuevo Coffee Specialty — Restaurant in Guaynabo

First thoughts: great location and accessible parking. We visited at 11:00am on a Wednesday. It’s like an upgraded Starbucks, a mix between a coffee shop and a fancy bistro. Everything is clean and well maintained, note that it’s outdoors seating. They do have shades and fans for comfort. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable.

The menu is straightforward and descriptive, and the items look appetizing. The employee was very kind and patient with us, as it was our first one visiting. She provided us with great recommendations and there were plenty of delicious options to choose from.

We first got a mocha and a hot matcha. The coffee was good and the matcha was not sweetened. Then, we ordered two quiches and two sandwiches in croissant bread(El Antojo and DNuevo Special. Spectacular! The quiches had a delicious texture and complementary flavors, the sandwiches were also amazing. The size was generous for the price, which we were pleasantly surprised by, given the location (Guaynabo).

If your brunch budget is around $20 per person, and you’re in the area, this is the perfect place for you. You won’t get tired of trying all the options on the menu. We’ll be definitely...

Nuestro Café Número 1. Dentro de los distintos cafés locales que hemos visitado en los últimos 7 años, hemos tenido múltiples gratas experiencias. Sin embargo, la excelente experiencia en este placentero lugar lo hace colocarse en la primera posición de nuestra lista y uno muy altamente recomendado. Visitado primero por mi esposa, que luego me recomendó que fuéramos, D-Nuevo Coffee Specialty presenta un balance entre una acogedora ambientación de varias áreas, cada una con su propia identidad dentro del conjunto de espacios, junto a unas excelentes atenciones de sus dueños Gilberto y Betzaida y su amable, respetuoso y atento personal, en especial Francelis (Fran) y sobre todo…el variado y muy particular menú generan una vivencia que bien vale la pena continuar repitiendo.

La combinación de los platos, postres y bebidas elaboradas en el lugar, como por ejemplo el café tostado en sitio, los quiche hechos desde cero, al igual que las galletas y croissants, sumado a platos como la pizza cafeína con salsa de café, la sopa de lentejas y la tostada abierta de aguacate con salsa de higo…..se combinan para producir una exquisita fusión de sabores. Las galletas y los croissants son otra cosa…deliciosas y de sabor excepcional.

Al final de nuestra velada, tanto Betzaida como Gilberto sacaron de su ajetreado tiempo para compartir con nosotros y compartir sus vivencias, lo cual se aprecia y sirve de motivación para volver, además de dar cátedra de lo que es un buen servicio y atenciones.

ACTUALIZACION: Dado que mi esposa está encantada con sus postres y el quiche, llamé ayer viernes para ordenar por la mañana e irlos a recojer en la tarde para darle la sorpresa por su cumpleaños. Fran me atendió muy bien y los fui a recojer. Al llegar, Gilberto, Fran y sus compañeras muy amablemente me atendieron y me orientaron sobre cómo conservar los postres antes de darle la sorpresa a mi esposa. Nos encantó la forma en que lo empacaron y por supuesto, más que delicioso todo y mi esposa, más que contenta!!, y el detalle de la nota de felicitación a mi esposa lo agradecemos mucho, por eso son nuestro Café Número 1. I don't know how I had missed out on these breakfast delights, living next to this coffee shop for so long and having never visited it.

Everything we ordered for breakfast was delicious, especially the “D-Nuevo Special” Croissant was on another level, that combination of salty and sweet with the Amarillo Majado and all its ingredients made it magnificent. Also the meat empanadas are very delicious too.

The service of the staff and attention, excellent!

The place is super cozy and very beautiful.
