McDonald's — Restaurant in Guilford

Have gone to this McDonald's numerous times during the week, never on a weekend. We ordered food asked for the drinks to be a two large seltzer water in the large cups that go with meal. After paying and sitting at second window for food I noticed on the receipt one meal was up charged $1.19 with $0.05 deposit. And another single $2.19 with $0.05 deposit told the lady at window we ordered seltzer water and she laughed and said sorry and have us the two large seltzer. I then had to leave food and go in building for refund of bottle water charges. Once in I was standing there around 10😠 minutes when only one person ordered inside as the cashier walked around from front and was working drive thru with the other person there. Once he decided to come back to register he says even though we didn't get bottle water he has to ask his manager if he could give me refund for bottle water. He comes back and give me one refund, when I ask for other refund he says you have to give back the bottle of water. I had to say again we did not get bottle water and the lady right at drive thru window just told you she did not give us bottled water. So he says with an attitude sorry I did not take your order with an attitude 🤔🙄🤬. Found out it was the manager who took our order and got it wrong. When I finally got back to my truck food was cold🤬. I asked for a sausage mcmuffin hold the butter..

I got a muffin with no egg...then after explaining the error I got a HAM mcmuffin .

Some days are better than others...I guess. I was so late I just ate it and left with my tail tucked under. I'm not in any rush to go back.

UPDATE: 9/4/19

I went there yesterday to order a Egg McMuffin with sausage - hold the butter and cheese. to go. I checked the bag before I drove off - and sure enough - I had only a sausage patty on the muffin. NO EGG. When I went back in - and told them they made a mistake, the manager was rude and told me I would have to pay for the egg. I did. By the way - the muffin was also burnt along the edges!!

This place is TERRIBLE. So far everyone I had to deal with there does not understand English very well and then blame the customer for their misunderstanding. Do they ever get an order correct? They...

Let's start with the fact that I think I saw just 1 employe wearing gloves, and the front lady I just saw here with the hand pushing a bag in garbage and after preparing to put some sandwiches in bags... I'm really stressed out here.. attitude 1 star... ( No, thank you.. no smile, but she could curse in front of my son.. in Spanish, unlucky we both speak multiple languages. I was disturbed of this, but I already ordered and paid... As for food... is like a fake McDonald's. French fries are not fresh, overcooked, and cold. The cheeseburger tastes poor and cold, too. Apples from the happy meal looked moist and expired, with a change of colors. I am aware that McDonald's is not a fancy restaurant, but we all know how it supposed to taste like. Save your dollars and go to another one if you want...
