Every time we have been here (about 6 times so far), our order either is completely messed up, or doesn't come out at all and we have to go to the window and beg for what we ordered.
On today's visit, I tried using my phone's app, with the 'Order from My Table' option. It doesn't recognize this location at all. So you cannot use the phone app.
We go to the tablets at the front of the restaurant. We enter our entire order in. We go to pay, using a credit card, because for some reason the tablets don't accept Apple Pay... When we swipe our credit card about a dozen times and in at least as many ways, nothing happens.
We ask the clerk up front, and she offers to redo our order. There is no way to transfer the order or for her to accept the payment. So now we have to reorder completely.
Order is entered, we are able to pay (with Apple Pay this time, why is it only available at the counter??), and we sit down. The pager goes off almost immediately as our coffees are ready, no food. We wait 13 minutes, and nothing appears at the window, and the pager is silent. We have to go to the window to get the food, and use the printed receipt, since they have no knowledge of the order.
In between this, we have to try and hunt down almond milk, which is never put out at the coffee counter. You have to stand awkwardly at the counter and beg for almond milk.
The worst part? This is not atypical for this location. This is pretty much our experience each of the times we have been here. How can a chain be this bad...

As we proceeded to place our order, we encountered further problems. Manager Chris, who was in charge that day, seemed disinterested and was somewhat rude when taking our order. He appeared to be inattentive and unwilling to address our concerns. This lack of customer service was quite disheartening, as we have always appreciated the warm and friendly atmosphere Panera Bread is known for. To our dismay, our order was taken incorrectly, and the kitchen staff missed my husband's entire meal. When our food and name were called, my husband's meal was nowhere to be found. We approached Manager Chris to address the issue, but instead of offering a genuine apology or a resolution, he was dismissive and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused to us. Read moreWe just had the worst customer service at the Guilford Panera and I’m waiting intill they open tomorrow to go and speak directly to the manager. We don’t typically order online food like this, but of course it’s when you’re feeling sick or somethings going on that you can’t make it out. Is when these things happen. My daughters and I am sitting here waiting for our food. 25 minutes goes bypass the time they said they would be here. I called to see what was going on and they said the driver never showed up and we’re all just about to walk out. Suggested she would leave the food outside if I wanted to go pick it up it’s about 50° out right now. I did get a little upset, but I was not rude or disrespectful.
