We go here seasonally(every winter) for the last 10 years. And WOW, was everything “off” this winter. The drive thru ordering process was met with brash people most times and it was painful. After the pre recorded voice at the drive thru I would cringe when i heard the familiar voice. No matter what you did, it was never good enough. If you ordered at a “normal” pace you were met with the rude, “anything else” every time before you even had a chance to order the next thing. If you picked up the pace you were met with the rude “slow down”. We travel full time and eat out almost every single day, this was consistently as bad as it gets. And I mean consistently! I get everyone has a bad day or off moments…we are human. And let’s not forget they forgot our apple pies 50% of the time. The first 2 times was okay but after that you started to get annoyed by it…like can’t they come up with some new process. Also, do not expect them to take accountability for it with a sorry or anything of that nature. They act like it’s your fault. And it’s best you never say anything when they are consistently rude because it’s just easier that way. As soon as you are fed up with being treated rudely with major attitude week after week and then say something, you realize what attitude really is. Don’t question anything. Last time we decided to go we ordered 6 ice cream cones around 9 pm…got to the window and were told they were cleaning it and then refilling and it would take at least 20 minutes. We said no problem, we will come back. We waited in another parking lot for 35 minutes to give them plenty of time. We came back to order and ordered our swirl cones at the speaker like before. We came up to the window and were told there was only vanilla. I was like really, ugh, we waited a half hour for these. I wish they would of told us then and we could have went somewhere else, why didn’t they just tell us? The fact she was questioned sent her into a whole new level of attitude. Whoever the owner is should head on over to Slim Chickens in Biloxi and order some food instead of the standard response on here. EVERY SINGLE time we went there this winter was consistently amazing. The employees were polite, kind, fun and engaging. If they made a mistake they were so kind and pleasant about it. The food was consistently hot and fresh. Then go under cover to this checkers and see the difference in the order taking process. We were very close to this Checkers and would have went 30 more times while there this winter but I cringed every time I thought about it and drive out of our way to go elsewhere because of the service. Read moreUPDATE*. Decided I’d give it one more try. I actually was served this time. ONE of my THREE burgers. I’m not even going back for them. This place is a joke. Will not recommend. Will also make posts on Facebook about my experience at this point. This business should close down to allow a fast food joint that’s worth a damn to move in. I WILL NOT BE BACK
Completely dead no customers, no signs saying “the system is down”. This is the second time this week I have stopped in and after being asked if I would like to try a big Buford or a bbq something I couldn’t understand her I said not today. As I looked at the menu (several seconds had passed, maybe 5 seconds?) THEN I am told “I’m sorry but the system is down”. They don’t even say goodbye or have a good day. They literally say “I don’t wanna actually do my job so the system is down”. This is why your night shift sales are so low compared to other locations. There is not another checkers or rally’s within reasonable distance so I would just assume not even bother trying to go there. I did and now I’m leaving Taco Bell. They even had other customers at Taco Bell. Literally not 1 single car in the checkers parking lot yet a full crew with the system down. Management does not need to bother trying to handle this situation as Management needs to be attended to...
Read moreHorrible. Lets start with pulling up and went to place my order.... 3 employees and other people are sitting outside smoking. I found it to be unprofesional. I am a buisness manager myself and when my employee smokes its not in front of the store. Well while my children,wife and i are waiting for almost 25 minutes for our food...i asked if we can get our drinks since we paid and we was waiting for our food.. The lady said ull get them in a minute. I was a little shocked by her behavior. You are an employee for that company... Be professional. While waiting you can smell cigarette smell coming from the window from the employees. Well after receiving my food almost 25 minutes later..... I pulled off to leave. My 9.00 meal had onions on there and i specifically said no onions because i am allergic. Thankfully my wife checked my burger. So that burger went to the garbage. The bread on my son burger was hard on the edges. The drinl was flat and my wife chicken tender had a piece of hair on it. This checkers is the worse one i have been too. Never had that many problems with my food at once. I will never go to that checkers again. This was around 11:30 in the morning. So the day shift needs work.
