🍨 Review of Chillville Creamery – Saturday Night Dessert Stop
Dropped by Chillville Creamery for a Saturday night treat and were greeted by a clean, well-kept space in a new building with a friendly, welcoming staff. The vibe was cheerful and inviting—perfect for a dessert outing.
The only hiccup was at the start: the line was held up by a “taster” who lingered for several minutes sampling flavors without placing an order. While taste testing is part of the fun, it might be worth revisiting the policy to keep things moving during busy hours. That said, it didn’t dampen our overall experience.
We ordered three desserts:
Double Scoop Waffle Cone with Pirate Treasure: A delightful blend of caramel, cookie, and M&M-style mix-ins. The balance between creamy ice cream and crunchy extras was spot-on. Waffle Bowl Sundae: Classic and satisfying—exactly what you’d expect from a well-made sundae. Double Scoop Fudge Ice Cream: Rich and indulgent, though the fudge portion overwhelmed the ice cream a bit. The base flavor was great, but the large chunk of fudge distracted from the overall texture and taste.
All in all, Chillville Creamery delivers a sweet experience with quality desserts and a welcoming atmosphere. A few small tweaks could elevate it even further, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something cold...
Read moreAfter finishing our disappointing salty dinner, we needed a sweet treat and a freshener. As an ice cream addict,, and being the first time in the south, I was afraid of being disappointed. Here I am writing a review; I was amazingly happy to stop by. I tried their waffle bowl which was freshly made, ordered seasalt caramel and it was one of the best and well made ice cream, has salted caramel syrup in addition to the cheesecake bits inside that gives an extra taste to the ice cream. My husband got almond pistachio, yes it was real pistachio with pistachio pieces on it and espresso chocolat chip that has an amazing dark chocolat chips on it. All with tips for $14 only!! Additionally, the staff were way friendly than the east coast. The place was cutesy and neat (even the bathroom was amazingly clean for such busy place!)We will definitely come back if I ever visit the area again. I wish there are more creamery like them in...
Read moreGood ice cream, great experience. They have 18 or so flavors of Mayfield ice cream (including sugar free options) but I still wasn’t too impressed with their flavor options. The topping selections are great, though, and they’re very generous with them! You can’t see it because it’s in a to-go cup, though their waffle cones look to die for 🤤, but I got a sundae with scoops of sea salt caramel - outstanding - and vanilla ice creams with chocolate fudge, whipped cream, marshmallow cream (hey, it’s been a rough day), extra maraschino cherries and sprinkles. It was too much to finish! Probably the best ice cream place in Gulfport, and the service can’t be beat. I will definitely be going back. 100% recommend!
Only 4 stars because of the disappointing flavor selection. Everything else...
