If there were zero stars, that's what I would have given. I recently moved to Gun Barrel City, TX area from Longmont, CO. I have been a Pizza Hut customer for over 2 decades and frequently went to the Brighton, CO and Loveland, CO locations. My husband and I recently went to the Gun Barrel City, TX location and showed up for their lunch buffet. The buffet runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. When we arrived, our waitress seated us and asked were we here for the buffet, we said yes. We walked up to the buffet and it was mostly picked over and there just wasn't much there. I saw a manager and politely asked was he going to bring more out for the buffet? He was extremely rude and said quite loudly "We don't do requests for the buffet!" I was not requesting anything specific. I was just wondering were they going to bring any more food out. He then said "The buffet is over anyway!" once again very loudly and really, really rude for no reason whatsoever. I looked down at my watch and it was 1:15 p.m. His behavior got several other customers' attention because he was quite loud and the guy is at least 6 ft. 6 in. tall. I later found out that his name is Jason Thorne and I will be calling their corporate headquarters. I really miss the Pizza Hut locations in CO, and like I have said, I have been a Pizza Hut customer for over 2 decades but the unacceptable behavior of this manager will keep me away from this location until something is...
Read moreI’ve been to the Pizza Hut in Gun Barrel City a few times over the past month, and while I’ve generally enjoyed the food and service, I’ve been very unhappy with the way one of your managers is treating the staff. He’s a tall guy with long brown hair, and every time I see him up front, he’s rude to the waitstaff. He talks to them like they’re beneath him and acts sassy with them, which is just wrong. Last week, I even saw one of the servers crying, and it seemed like it had something to do with him. It’s upsetting to witness an employee being treated like that, and it makes the whole place feel uncomfortable. I don’t want to eat at a restaurant where the staff is being mistreated, and it’s really affecting my experience. I’m visiting from Virginia for the holidays, and I usually come here with my mother, who’s been coming to this Pizza Hut for years. Even though I’m not here all the time, I can still tell that this manager’s behavior is completely unacceptable. I really hope that this reaches higher management and that you’ll address this issue, as I’d hate to stop coming back over something like this. It’s making the restaurant feel unwelcoming, and I’m not the only one...
Read moreI was so excited to go here because I live in Austin and there hasn't been a dine in pizza hut there in forever. So I was excited to be in a pizza hut again. I loved the atmosphere and and my friend and I was Reminiscing about old times. We orded a pepperoni lovers with half black olives and hand tossed with light sauce. I swear that's the hardest order they ever heard. The first pizza they came over and said sorry but they gave your pizza to a door dash and we put another in the oven for you. Ok that's fine Second pizza was wrong black olives over the whole thing and it didn't have a lot pepperoni like it should I sent it back but she acted like it was an inconvenience for her The third pizza was stuffed crust the olives were right the sauce wasn't and neither was the pepperoni She brought it over and was like sorry they didn't listen.
You shouldn't even have brought it to us you should have fixed it if you knew it was wrong and they only discounted 50% Terrible staff! Stop joking around and pay attention to your job that...
