Little Mexico Burrito and Tacos — Restaurant in Gun Barrel City

We have been going to Little Mexico for almost 7 years for lunch, usually ordering the street tacos, it wasn't the greatest but they never disappointed either. Last weekend my husband went to pickup breakfast for the first time. They do not offer breakfast tacos in four tortilla but they do have breakfast burritos. The flour tortilla was probably 3/4 of an inch thick and the eggs tasted like imitation egg mix. The potato was probably from a mix as well, watered down and dry at the same time, how do you accomplish that? The chorizo was ok but it was just sprinkled in and not mixed in the fake egg. The man at the window was so RUDE when my husband asked for no cheese. He said, "It easier if you just order as it is on the menu" easier for who? They make the burritos without mixing up the ingredients so how hard can it be to just leave the cheese out? One of their responses to a good review turned bad after having their breakfast burritos was they were not planning on changing their recipe. What recipe? HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT but I'm sure they won't care too much about this review or any other breakfast menu reviews. Maybe they're just not morning people. For over a year I have been an everyday customer (even on days you can clearly tell the meat was refrigerated from the night before!) because I legitimately love street tacos and their beef fajitas burritos. I’ve ordered the same things every day and then yesterday they tried to charge me way more then I pay every day for over a year so I called and filed a complaint and was assured the issue would be fixed ( let me add the manager of this location never returned my call either!) just to pull up today giving it another chance and Rosie to laugh in my face and still charge what she was the day before , like she’s “won”. Well you know what you did win, you won the medal of losing a customer. This location clearly has poor management or employee control. I have always loved Little Mexico. The ones in Kemp and Kaufman, have always been great. This one used to be great. I am not sure what has happened, but for the last 5 years, anytime I order a breakfast burrito they get my order wrong. They always leave out something that I paid extra for. That’s not why I am rating and posting though. The main ingredient, of a breakfast burrito, is eggs. There is such a small amount of eggs, in these burritos, that I can’t even taste it. It’s very disappointing, that this location isn’t as good as it used to be. Every burrito I’ve gotten, in the past 5 years, from here, has been like this.
