Title: Mixed Experience at Power Stop

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

I have visited Power Stop approximately five or six times over the past year, and my overall experience has been a mixed bag. One aspect that stood out to me during each visit was the unwelcoming atmosphere that seemed to permeate the store. The staff's demeanor consistently gave off the impression that they didn't value my presence as a customer. This lack of enthusiasm left me feeling unwelcome and unappreciated.

On a positive note, I recently decided to try their hamburger for the first time, and I must admit, it was a step above the average fast-food chain like McDonald's. However, I couldn't help but notice that the patty still had a frozen texture, which slightly detracted from the overall taste. While it was an improvement, I expected a bit more in terms of the quality of the meat.

Considering these factors, I am giving Power Stop a three-star rating primarily due to the customer service aspect. While the food has its shortcomings, the staff's lack of friendliness and the feeling of being an inconvenience dampened my overall experience. I believe that every customer should feel valued and appreciated, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visits.

I hope that Power Stop takes this feedback constructively and works towards creating a more welcoming environment for their customers. Additionally, focusing on improving the quality of their food, particularly the freshness of the ingredients, would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, while the burger at Power Stop surpassed my expectations compared to fast-food chains, the frozen patty and unwelcoming atmosphere left me with mixed feelings. I hope to see improvements in both customer service and food quality...

I like this place. I like stopping to get gas and also getting a hot sandwich. The deli sandwiches are good, and the French fries and the wings.

But I love a good burger, and for some reason this one didn’t hit home. I found myself chewing on way too much meat. Good bun, fresh toppings, good bacon. Just a lot of meat in there, while that’s not a bad thing. A burger has to flow and this burger really moo’d at me the whole time I was eating it. Took a lot of jaw muscle.

We gotta talk about the Power Break breakfast. I went in this weekend thinking “ damn a plate of two eggs, hashbrowns, buttered toast and bacon? I’ll take it. “ But it’s a sandwich….and when the sandwich was presented to me, I noticed they gave me the bunt end of the bread. Working for kitchens my whole life I have never seen a cook slap a bunt end on a breakfast sandwich, it’s really cheap. You can’t tell me that this establishment couldn’t have opened up a fresh bag and given me a solid piece of sourdough?

The bread wasn’t buttered , it was extremely dry. And to top it all off….if you had told me I’d be getting a frozen triangle hashbrown from the freezer I would have kept my money. It doesn’t take but 4min to cut up a peeled potato and fry it in a pan for 4min on high. While I can understand this process may take extra time, I was the only one eating in this joint for almost an hour. The girl that cooked my sandwich I think had just arrived. I mean time could have been taken to properly serve up a plate of eggs and potatoes. If you don’t change the hashbrown situation, please put in bold writing that this is a sandwich. Not a regular breakfast plate.

Sincerely, guy who...

What a great find!! Holy cow! We weren't expecting this! So worth the stop in! Was in Gunnison for a birthday party and on the way out of town and needed a bite to eat. We had passed it earlier on in the trip but were hesitant, primarily due to the location and construction that (at the time of this writing) is/was going on.. we also had 10 people and front first look, it looks on the smaller side. Didn't want to overwhelm. SO GLAD WE STOPPED!! There are SO MANY options on the boards!! Of the four orders we got, three burgers and one philly (The Green Chili Philly), every one blew out minds! Cooked to perfection. The curly fries were seasoned really well.. Not too much, nor too little. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. Chefs were happy and nice as well. Overall, this place deserves a round of applause!! Planning on coming back next month, so we are looking forward to...

My coworker and I stopped here for lunch. I had the Wake Up Call sandwich and I honestly don't have the words for how delicious that sandwich is. It's an incredibly tasty hamburger patty with one egg, bacon and hash brown all on a couple pieces of toasted buttery sourdough bread. The hamburger patty was spicy as if it had a spicy Italian sausage mixed into it but I'm not exactly sure and I can't wait to have it again. The chef said everything is made there no pre-processed patties. Very good food and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Powerstop restaurant. I think this used to be a Circle K gas station building a long time ago but it's so different now, Powerstop is a convenience store and gas station with incredibly good food with an unconventional atmosphere that I felt completely comfortable in and as I said I can't wait to get back to try another great sandwich!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Gunnison and Crested Butte for Christmas and came to the Powerstop 3 times over the course of 2 days. They were the only restaurant open on Christmas and the burgers were absolutely spectacular. The buns themselves were the best burger buns I’ve had. I first ordered the Spicy Hawaiian and Jeff got the Sanchez. Both BANGIN. On our second trip to Powerstop, I got the Fiesta Ranch and Jeff got the Thrift shop burger. On our 3rd trip, each of us got the breakfast burrito (mine with chorizo and Jeff’s with bacon). My favorite choice was definitely the Fiesta ranch burger. Huge ranch fiend, and mixed with the guacamole was MUAAAW! Jeff’s favorite meal was the Sanchez.
