Read moreI was given the biggest run around by the Gunnison store when I went in to get my broken screen repaired. They falsely told me I could get it fixed at an authorized dealer in a bigger City. When I went to this store, they said they do not repair onsite and only do service calls and come to your house. Unfortunately Gunnison is not in the 60 mile service area, so the only option is to mail it in and be without a phone for a week or so while it is getting repaired. I am self employed and rely on this phone for work, there was no offer on how to help me set up a temporary phone while it is being replaced. After spending 45 minutes on Verizon customer service line, I found that since the return envelope took 5 days to get to me and it has taken me 2 days to get to backing up my phone and getting it ready to ship- my original claim was cancelled because it was not sent back in 7 days. So now I have to wait another 4-5 days for a new return envelope to get here to send it in! It has been 2 1/2 weeks of trying to get this fixed going through what I thought would be the most logical route- through the local store. The local store sucks. Don't...
Read moreSales associates are either incompetent or just straight up liars. I went to this store earlier this summer to ask about getting a new phone. When I inquired the woman told me that there was a promo goin on and that I could get a new iphone16 for only the price of the tax. I thought this was too good to be true so I asked multiple times if I did get the new phone if my monthly bill would go up, each time she said no. She also told me I wouldn't have to trade in my old phone. All of this was a blatant lie, my next bill came in and it was more than triple (fees for the cost of phone, a protection plan I didn't ask for, and random other fees). I went back to the store and another rep assured me the $1,000 promo would be credited to my account in the coming weeks, it wasn't. I called Verizon customer service, they had no record of any type of promo being mentioned on my account with this purchase. After over an hour on the phone they worked out that I could get and $820 promo if I mailed in my old phone. Very frustrating experience and the worst customer service I've had in a while.
