Homestyle comfort food with a sophisticated Parisian cafe mood. Original landscape oil paintings by a local artist decorate the walls. Very nice table settings, and soft background music. The service was very friendly and attentive. THE BAD: This restaurant does not have a liquor license, but is allowed to sell wine from a local NJ winery. WARNING: Do not order the wine, instead bring your own. The wine is not good. I personally think it should not even be sold. There was something terribly distasteful about the wine I ordered, and this was after the waiter told me not to order the wine I wanted because people had been sending it back, and to order the good wine, but even the good one was horrible. I am giving the restaurant a 3 star rating for the food, service and ambiance. It would've been 4 stars had it not been for the horrible...
Read moreJust excellent food. We had the seafood (Paila Marina and their signature Zapallar seafood) we also had Humita and the garlic shrimps. Was amazing. Fresh and delicious. The price was right too. The waiter and waitress were polite, attentive and professional. Great customer service. The place was beautifully decorated and clean. Our only issue (which did not affect my rating to them cause was not their fault) was these people that decided to sit right next to us even though the entire restaurant was empty. They cought, sneeze driving us nuts. Don't get why people have no sense 🙄. Anyway we moved and the waiter fully understood and no issue. Spent $100 just because I also took Pastel de Choclos and mill Hojas to go lol and bread had to 😋. Definitely...
Read moreThe waiter was really nice and was very attentive with us, but the food was ok. My wife and I ordered the fried fish, my father ordered the mix seafood plate. The fish was in a thick batter that just made it too thick & heavy. Plus it tasted like the only seasoning used was cumin. To top it off the place calls itself a wine bar and only has one brand of wine which wasn't even from Chile SMH, Chile has good wines. The place talks about how it's Chilean cuisine & wine bar but it's only wine is from Philipsburg NJ. I understand they just opened but if wine bar is part of your sell, then that needs to be done right from jump street. IDK if I'll give them a second try, I'll give them a 3 month wait and see if they're...
