Went to the Derby location for dinner tonight. We were not impressed and will not be back to this location. First impression was there was no greeting. Every customer who came in was just asked if they were an online order and nothing else.
My husband and I both ordered the hook and Ladder. One Spicy Garlic H&L and mine Spicy Dill H&L. The app suggests that you order the spicy dill plank on the side in substitution to the pickle spear. The guy running the drive through tonight with longer blonde hair decided to argue with my husband about getting the spicy pickle plank. He claimed the GM didn’t want them to be giving out the pickles and he didn’t want to get in trouble…. It’s a stupid pickle right? So my husband went on with ordering our meal. We got the meal home and we had ordered both without tomato and mine with no Ham sub Turkey as I have a preference to not eating pork. Both sandwiches had tomato & ham.
So horrible service over a… 20c (not even) spicy pickle plank, on top of not being competent enough to take the order right. Maybe he should get in trouble for not being able to do basic customer service. Food would have been better if it...
Read moreWent for lunch with the wife. As we waited 15 minutes for our subs, we noticed other patrons receiving their food after they came in at least 10 minutes after us. Mobile order perhaps? After 20 minutes, I asked the hostess if it usually took this long for two subs… she was completely dumbfounded as were the two people cooking. After paying for my food, waiting over 20 minutes, watching other people get their food before us all they could say was, “we can make your subs now.”
They hadn’t even started making the subs yet. I waited, and it took them 5 minutes to make both. I understand things happen, but the lack of responsibility and presence of any Manager really shows. While waiting, I looked this location up on Google to read the reviews, and I was not shocked at all! Same thing happens here constantly apparently.
I feel bad for the franchise owner because it could be so much better...
Read moreMy sister, 2 nieces and I were at this restaurant on 11-5-24. I am a retired case manager and the discrimination by Drew posed on my sister that has a disability was unbelievable. We asked for a table outdoors due to her immune deficiency. Drew (? Manager) stated "no" the chairs were not to be moved because of wind. No wind at this time and they were in a fenced area as shown in picture. His demeanor was condescending which really upset my sister. We sat on curb in parking lot to eat. There are clear guidelines to ADA and these were dismissed by Drew reporting he has a disabled son. He should have a clear understanding of ADA and public access required under this Act instead of using his son to dismiss my sister. Cooperate please contact me on...
