I started out strong with straight-up Sweet Georgia Peach—delicious, bold, and unapologetically sugary. Then I started dialing it back: half sweet, half unsweet. Now I’ve landed on my sweet spot—25% sweet, 75% unsweet—which gives you just enough flavor without the sugar coma.

What makes HTeaO great isn’t just the tea (which is solid across the board), it’s that they let you customize the hell out of it. Want a splash of Mango with your Mint? Done. The tea at any of the HTeaO is great. The staff at the derby location has always been friendly. Unfortunately I met the owner for the first time today and I couldn’t believe how rude she was! She was very rude to my child over an accident that wasn’t the fault of my child and then was being rude and yelling across the restaurant at me. She was in the back and came out assuming she knew what happened because she thought she heard something. Wow! I would have walked out and not even got the tea but my kids would have been really disappointed so I chose not to. Then while I was paying I overheard her talking bad about us to her employees in the back. Very disappointing! I am a regular customer at this location and am seriously considering changing locations on where I get my tea and driving all the way to...

I normally have a pretty great experience here, but there have been times lately when my fiancé has been through the drive thru to get a unsweet ice tea to bring to me at work and the staff there ends up giving him a sweet tea, and the lid even will say "uns reg". We don't know it is a sweet tea till after my fiancé has dropped it off to me at work and than has already left. This has happened several times and it is quite disappointing. I don't know if this is happening because the staff is not paying attention to what they are doing or if they are just being careless. What happens if I was to be diabetic?
