Starbucks — Restaurant in Hackensack

I want to congratulate the entire Starbucks team inside Target at Hackensack, they are always friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy that makes me want to come back every day. The baristas provide excellent service, always remember my order, and treat me with respect and kindness. They are the main reason I continue to visit this location! However, I do want to mention a situation that is not related to the Starbucks team, but rather to someone who said they were a Target “manager” and happened to be in line behind me one day. Their attitude made me feel uncomfortable, as if they were questioning whether I intended to pay something that has never been an issue for me. I am the type of person who will even cover the bill for elderly customers who might be short on change, so that kind of insinuation is completely uncalled for. Since that day, I only come here because of the amazing Starbucks baristas, but I think it’s important for Target to address this type of behavior, as it can impact the customer experience and reflect poorly on Starbucks. EmpIoyees are always friendly and nice and I go here frequently to have a tea. However, they start their closing at about 7 and by 7:30 they have already dumped all the teas, because they are closing soon (8pm) I am all for starting the cleaning process early... so that when its time not much is left to do, But dumping everyrhing 30 to 40 min prior to closing is really not ok. They might as well close at 7:30. This is not the first time this happens, which is why I am complaining about it. I see I am not the only one...

I’ve been using this Starbucks location since it opened last year. I went in this morning on 01/29/24 around 9 am. There were 3 women working and I was the only customer ordering a coffee. They all had horrible attitudes, the woman taking my order spoke to me like I was stupid. This is not the first encounter of just terribly rude and unfriendly customer service at this location.
