Johnson Park — Attraction in North Arlington

Overall a great place to take a walk, ride your bike and enjoy nature. They have a huge parking space and nice playground. The only thing that I have observed during my last visit is inappropriate graffiti in the playground. It should be removed, its is inappropriate for the children to see such images and also embarrassing for the parents. I know this is just vandalism or just silly teenagers. Johnson Park is a great spot for families, and the playground was definitely the highlight for us. It’s spacious, clean, and has plenty of equipment to keep kids entertained for a while. My little one had a blast exploring the different play areas, and there’s enough seating nearby for parents to relax while keeping an eye out. The park itself feels safe and well-kept, with open space if you want to walk around or have a picnic. Parking was easy, which made the whole visit stress-free. Great park for soccer enthusiasts as there are two very well maintained fields. There are also five quite nice tennis courts and a small kiddie playground. The park is adjacent to the Greenway path system that stretches south 2.5 miles along the Hackensack river. Huge expense of grass off the main parking parking area, which has ample spaces.
