I wanted to leave this review because it was much needed. Not because of any of the employees but the manager that was on duty. On 3.5.22 late afternoon, I asked a manager who was walking the store with one of his employees and they were just engaging in life conversations as the store was super busy . I asked one of them to help me locate an item and I was told where it was however I informed the manager I was in that section if he could help me find it or if he could maybe bring it to me because I already in circles. I was already frustrated I couldn't find it and a couple of the employees I asked couldn't understand me due to the language barrier. His answer to me was don't you work for Shipt isn't that your job, now at this point I was taken back by his response. Clearly he wasn't doing much but trying to make himself look busy because as I was picking up my items prior they were slowly walking beside me doing god knows what. But, honestly he could have helped, what happened to others helping one another ? or maybe being a little nicer instead of being rude. He was too busy chit chatting with the young employee and less worried about helping anyone. He clearly was over his day and was more interested in speaking with this young worker. He definitely needs some couching and training on how to demonstrate customer service. Isn't Target's mission statement "exceptional guest experience by consistently fulfilling our Expect More" well that's not what is being demonstrating regardless if I worked for shipt or not. Still a customer with or without Shipt. If the store was stocked properly and things weren't in different places or had better signage I wouldn't have had this problem. I eventually found my item and again it was not in the place it was suppose to be however I hope someone sees this and corrects the way he...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite places to shop. Always organized, quick turn around after a Saturday, fully stocked and beautiful displays that would entice me to SHOP! But, lately, especially the past few months, the conditions of the store have gotten noticeably worse and It doesn’t seem to be improving. The clothing aisles are messy, (particularly the boys and shoe area), the home/seasonal decor display areas are being set up later than other stores and not 100% all the way. The Hearth and Home area has been a disaster (everything cluttered all over the place and on the floor, making it unappealing and uneasy to navigate) etc. I understand this store has high volume and can’t always be “clean and organized”, but this is not based on just a Monday morning or coming in once on a bad day -which I’d understand. This is on a consistent basis no matter the day. I hate leaving negative reviews, but coming from a retail background myself, I find it baffling how any GM would find this acceptable and take any pride in their store looking this way. I will say that the lovely woman I see frequently in the morning stocking and cleaning up the bullseye area has done a great job keeping that in tact. I forget her name (forgive me), but I know she’s been there for years. I’d love to see this store pick things up again. Please consider taking a look at your aisles/displays and seeing which areas really need re-focus. Care about your store because trust me, it shows when you don't. I’d love to shop there for the holidays and am hoping you once again create the beautifully stocked, organized displays you once had. I look...
Read moreI normally frequent the Clifton target but I decided to go to a different one about two weeks ago. I don’t normally leave reviews especially after a few weeks have gone by but these two employees were exceptional. Lilliana and Hector went above and beyond to help me. I went to return a few things and shop around. I was having a problem with this one particular return which Clifton wouldn’t lift a finger to try and help me but they did. They were incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating. I don’t know what you’re paying but I’d give them a raise. If not for them I would’ve given you two stars. And that is because although you’re undergoing some renovations, shopping for clothing in your store is a complete nightmare. I was running around asking employees to scan and see if they had certain sizes so I could go dig to find things and they were all pretty helpful about it. Except this one young man whose name I wish I had gotten who gave me an attitude and then talked about me with his coworkers afterwards because I asked him to scan a pair of baby leggings to see if the store had the size my daughter needed and he refused to do it. He said whatever is there is what we have and when I told him his coworkers had been helping me find what I needed by letting me know if it was there or not he walked away came back and said whatever is there is there and I said I know you can scan it and tell me so I asked someone else right in front of him and when I walked away I could hear him talking...
