Dunkin' — Restaurant in Hadley

I've worked in the food service industry for 11yrs with 7yrs being at a coffee shop.This happened several months ago when we were visiting from out of state. Our experience here literally brought me to tears when I got back into the vehicle. We had never been to a Dunkin Donuts before. I understand, especially with chains, that certain menu items are available specific ways and can't be altered which is why I asked if chai was available iced and if we could have a breakfast sandwich without cheese. They became irate that we didn't know what we wanted and an older women making the drinks demanded we decide hot or blended as they won't make it iced. (It was 2 questions & no one else was in line at that time) We ordered 3 total blended drinks and as we waited we listened to them complain and make vile remarks to each other about us and other customers. They loudly directed to us the inconvenience of having to make so many blended drinks because they can only make a certain amount at a time with that machine. They slammed the blended drinks down towards us hard enough for some to splash out onto the counter. I hope not all DDs are like this. We do not plan on patronizing any others...

My 5 stars isn't "compared to other breakfast/coffee places", it's "for what it is". Is it amazing coffee? No. It's drinkable. Is the food better then a restaurant? No, it's eatable. But FOR FAST FOOD, and compared to other Dunks, if you're looking at the many dunks in the area THIS is the one to go to. Are there coffee shops I'd much rather get my coffee from? Of course. But I don't always have the time. If you're going for dunks you know exactly what you're getting. This place just happens to have the nicest staff in the area, the fastest ACCURATE service (there's another one in the area that's a little faster, but is it REALLY faster if you have to go back in to fix it?) , And the coffee has yet to taste burnt or be full of coffee grounds. So if you're looking for dunks or debating between dunks and gas station coffee.. go HERE. THIS is the one to go to.

The lady at this Dunkin was very rude. Normally I come here practically every morning but I ordered and she proceeded to correct me over the speaker about my coffee but she was mumbling and I couldn’t understand what she was saying, being very rude about it. I just said “okay then” and drove to the window. When I got to the window and gave her my card and she proceeded to correct me over how to order a French vanilla shot. I just said “okay” and gave her my card, she put it back out the window so I took it back and she said “I didn’t do it yet, why are you so mad?!” I said “I’m not you put it out the window so I took it back?” I proceeded to tell her I worked at Dunkin for 5 years before my current job and it’s normally just French vanilla not French vanilla SHOT. As I was driving away she yelled “well you can go somewhere else then!” The worst service at this Dunkin I have had in the few years I’ve been going there. Very...
