A Slice of Pizza with a Heart ❤️🩹 (read on to learn why I chose a bandaged heart)
Gio’s Pizzeria is more than just a place to grab an amazing pizza—it’s a beacon of hope and generosity in our community. Not only do they serve some of the most delicious, fresh, and perfectly crafted pizzas, but they also go above and beyond by supporting a cause that truly matters: helping childhood 🎗️cancer patients and their families.
The pizza here is outstanding. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the menu offers a great variety to suit every taste. Whether you’re a fan of classic margherita or love a loaded supreme pizza, you can taste the care and quality in every bite. Not to mention, Efren, the owner, has been making pizzas in our area for over 20 years at restaurants you’re probably already familiar with: Tony’s and Little Alex’s. I’ve never met another human being so humble, gentle and kind. He literally doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. His loyalty and commitment are unmatched. His passions are food and his family and pours his heart and soul into every dish he makes with his “why” being his family. Speaking of passion, Efren’s wife, Alisha, will be a regular smiling face you’re see at Gio’s as well at out in the community spreading their mission and pizza 🍕 🤤 She is an easily approachable, extroverted social butterfly who loves everyone she meets. You’re likely to see her serving at the restaurant, answering the phone, delivering your order, or making someone feel welcome.
But what really sets Gio’s Pizzeria apart is their commitment to making a difference. The husband and wife duo opened this restaurant in honor of their son, Gio, who became a cancer🎗️ patient himself at the age of 4 😞 He survived against all odds and his parents realized thru their journey that our Tri state area is lacking in support for pediatric cancer patients and their families. As they grow their business, their mission is to donate a portion of their proceeds to organizations supporting children battling cancer, host fundraisers, provide therapy and support groups and raise awareness for this critical cause. It’s heartwarming to see a business use its platform to give back in such a meaningful way. Who better to lead the charge, than a family who has been in the trenches themselves? 🥺
Every visit here feels like you’re part of something bigger—a community coming together to support those in need while sharing incredible food. If you’re looking for great pizza and a chance to support an important mission, Gio’s Pizzeria is the place to go.
Highly recommend this pizzeria for not just their food, but for their heart and dedication to helping...

The pizza is amazing - dough/crust is seasoned well. We've had the cheese pizza and the Gio's Special pizza. Very generous topping amounts on the pizza!! Their Italian sub is huge and delicious!!! Took half home for lunch the next day!!! The hot pepper relish is so good!!! Right amount of zing!!! I took a cup into the office- my teammates raved about that relish!!! Very friendly people!!! Reasonable prices!!! Spacious seating space!!!...
