The rating speaks for itself, 2/5 is the highest I can score this place. The Atmosphere is pretty bad and mainly ghetto/aggressive/low quality individuals from the surrounding area. Pool Table is free which is normally a good thing but in this case it isn't as there's no order with the table and the chalk board for taking turns. Service is generally chaotic because of the size of the building and the type of patrons as already mentioned. This place DESPERATELY needs security and it seems the owner doesn't want to fork out the money for it. Unfortunately I feel it will take a fight or something bad to happen to open the owners eyes to the importance of security, especially for patrons like these. Last thing, the bathrooms are half broken to the point you can barely use them. This place is pretty new so the fact both toilets are already broken is sad. I want to like this place, but until there's some order, security, and attempts to change the atmosphere/patrons I will not...

What a great first experience at The Marq Bar! 🍺 The energy on the night I visited was absolutely fantastic—it definitely gave off great vibes. It was lively, and I especially enjoyed the costume contest, which really added a fun and engaging element to the night. Adding to the great experience, I had the opportunity to meet the owner. He's a true host—a tall gentleman with a huge personality who clearly sets the welcoming tone for the whole place. The drinks were a definite highlight. They were delicious and, even better, they were heavy poured! You certainly get your money's worth, which really contributed to the overall nice vibe and made for a great night out. Finally, they also have a jukebox with a wide variety of music, so you can easily set the soundtrack for your evening. I'd highly recommend...

Had a bit of time to kill so I figured I would grab a drink while I was waiting. I’m not from the area, so I looked up nearby bars and this one had a good rating. I can 100% see why!!! The bartender (who turned out to be the owner) was wonderful! Great personality, very welcoming and kind. Instantly makes you feel at ease. It was early on a weekday so not too many people were there but he was so friendly and attentive to everyone. Made great drinks too :) A bit before I left, another bartender showed up for her shift and she was a total sweetheart, too!
