We are locals and it was easy to find. We got there few minutes before 7pm. No welcoming words, so it felt awkward to sit. As newbies we didn't know if the inside was a small cafe or the actual bar and grill, we decided to go outside and get the flyer experience to eat in the patio by the pool. We catch some live music that could use some better sound, but the red long hair guy was good. At the table still waiting for at least eye contact, we decided to kill sometime and walk around the pool. It was nicely lit and the water warm. Back in the table with out being knowledge I decided to go back inside and let know about our presence and intentions to eat. Approach two ladies one was the bartender and say: Hi, is our 1st time here. Do I sit wherever? To a respond without eye contact, "Yes, someone will be w you shortly" 15 minutes later, different lady show up, ask for drinks and got our appetizers orders. Fries and chicken wings. 10 mis later drinks. At 8:20 we finally saw food. Fries were good and nice looking. Chicken wasn't impressive, bigger than Walmart but smaller than Cici's pizza. Ahh I have to send my husband for a refill of my soda to the bar. If I were to go hungry hungry I would have left after the 1st 30 mins. Very...
Read moreTried to have dinner after a round of golf and stopped by due to the signs on rte 27 saying bar and restaurant open to the public. We arrived about 5:30 and surprised to see indoor was not open but the patio/bar area was. We seated ourselves at a table not 6 feet from the bar. After 10 minutes watching 2/3 bartenders talking to the 5 or 6 customers I went to the bar and asked if there was a waitress. I was told yes and offered me a menu ( I had to ask for another as they must not have noticed there were two of us) we waited about ten more minutes watching the girl bartenders drinking and talking to the men at the bar. We got up to leave and were told to have a good day. They never even noticed us 6 feet from the bar and in the direction they were facing. On leaving I I asked at the front desk if they had snow bird rentals and was told yes they do. I had to ask what was the program. After answering questions of dates and number of bedrooms desired. I was then told to try phoning them. Everything about this nice looking place seemed to be run in a very non professional and casual manor were a customer was an interruption to whatever an...
Read moreNot a great experience but may try again in the future. My husband and I saw the Bar & Grill was open to the public so we stopped in during the afternoon. Big positive - the area and amenities are very nice! Unfortunately, the staff seemed unorganized and had difficulties greeting guests, taking orders and using the POS system, and the wait for an appetizer was too long. We ordered two drinks and nachos to share. The drinks were fine, but it took over 30 minutes to receive a small plate of nachos. I actually had to go back to the bar to ask the bartender, Jen, how much longer the food was going to take. She even asked me who I ordered from, and I told her that she was the one who took my order...right at that time, the nachos came out of the kitchen area. The nachos were soggy and not worth the wait. We could have easily left after eating and not paid our bill because Jen didn't even know who we were when we came back to the bar to pay before leaving because we're honest. We always tip no matter what, but this...
