I walked in with no purse just my credit card and my phone. Immediately upon arrival the young girl followed me and hid around the other lane. I called out to her and asked about the wigs this will be my 1st time buying a wig for medical reasons. There is a big all wig sales are final sign up which I understand I asked her if I'm able to try on the wig. She said no which to me makes no sense how are you supposed to know how it looks if you can't try it on. At that point I decided against getting wig and went to the products side of the store. The employee tried to be discreet about following me around the store but was not good at it. Detective she should never be. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable as she kept following and and hiding around the isle corners. Again I didn't even have a bag to store any items if my intentions were to steal which they were not. Horrible customer service and I've never been followed in a store as if I was a threat or a thief. I was with my sister who still was going to purchase something and I insisted we leave and not give this store one cent. Shame on that young girl of color for trying to make someone who is more than capable of paying feel like they are doing something wrong when I just needed a wig. Customer Service at this place is atrocious. I purchased an item on Sat. Went to use it on Sunday, and it had leaked all over everything. At checkout the receipt paper ran out and the person at the counter didn't know how to replace it, so they needed to call someone from the back to do it for them. No problem, didn't think I'd need it and didn't want to continue waiting. I went back to the store to exchange it and even took it back in the bag it leaked all over. The item was $8.99. The way that I was spoken to was completely unprofessional. Insinuated that I was lying about the receipt situation, told them to look it up on the cameras, I'll tell them what time I came in the store, but he said he didn't have time for that. I was pulling up the purchase from my bank on my phone, while being told what I should have done, why did I wait so long to bring the item back, even though it was less than 48 hours, and being questioned like a common theif. I am appalled. For a $9.00 item when my Purchase amount was 4 times that. The item was exchanged as if a Great Favor was just done for me that I should be grateful for. I brought my oldest here because they are looking at some options for wigs and their hair stylist recommended this place as a good resource. They were fairly easy to find located in the strip mall. They are apparently a wholesale supplier who also sells to the public. They had a ton of wigs in stock along with a myriad of other hair care related products. It was quite a large store with fairly narrow aisles. We spoke to the lady at the front counter who got us assistance from one of the other employees. I explained in detail to each of them the circumstances and what we were looking for. The young lady that helped us was able to show us some possible wig choices but we have a problem because of allergies to fabrics and need to find a place that can sew in silk linings. In the end they were able to recommend five places to contact that might be able to assist us further in this matter. We keep pursuing these because we hope to be able to find someplace we can go into in person but so far the only luck we've had is with places that are online where we wouldn't have much knowledge of the product until it arrived.
