Bojangles — Restaurant in Haines City

Fries where over cooked. It was like eating a hollow fry with no fluffy inside. Just a hard crust drenched in grease. I did let them know and they said they would make a fresh one for me. Waited for a long time. Decided to just go up and ask for coleslaw instead. Coleslaw was ok. Tasted a little old but the date said made yesterday. The chicken tenders were good. Had a nice flavor. The manager did bring me a fresh fry anyways. Which was thoughtful. They still were hallow inside but not over cooked. So I'm thinking that the fries are just bad no matter what. The biscuits were also stale. Hard on the top and bottom. So not a truly soft and fluffy biscuit. No flavor at all. The cashier Cassandra was seen mopping the floors with no wet floor signs. Customers are walking into the store with floors being soaked with water at the entrance and could possibly be a trip hazard. If they were not paying attention. Luckily I did notice while walking into the store that the floor was soaked with water and walked around it. She looked to be confused and didn't ask for help when it got busy. Lost like a deer in headlights. Finally a manager came over. And jumped in to save the day. But did tell her she needs to speak up and ask for help. I agree. Dirty tables too. Manager also gave me a card for a free chicken sandwich but not sure if we will still go back. We live further away and have better options closer to home. Only tried it because it was new. I was so excited they’re getting out of Bojangles in Davenport. I grew up on it in North Carolina. I’ve literally went to Bojangles all my life and that was over 30 years. The biscuits are fine at this location with no issue. I’m a disappointed that they’re not doing biscuits all day. The chicken tenders are not the same that I grew up on. It’s totally different. I don’t know why they decide to change the recipe, but it’s not the same as it is in North Carolina and other locations I grew up on.

The service I will tell you is here. Miss you either get excellent service or you get crap service and what I mean by crap service they don’t check the bag to make sure everything is in the order. They’re just quick and hurry to throw it out the window they charge you for stuff for example like extra icing on the blueberry biscuit, but don’t even give you extra icing. I just don’t understand why people cannot take pride and what they do. You work in the service industry if you’re not happy working in the service industry then leave find another job but while you’re working there, you should take pride and what you do.

I really hope this location gets better because as Davenport grows, this is gonna turn into a awesome area to live and businesses are gonna thrive but if you have inconsistent, food, quality, and horrible service, the location has...

This has quickly become my new favorite drive-thru and has replaced Chic-fil-a for my go-to fried chicken place! It's still relatively new and they've had some kinks to work out, there have been several times they've gotten my order wrong. But they've always made it right, either with discounts or free food or vouchers! I believe he's the manager there - Dom, is an absolute gem. He goes above and beyond to make things right when there's any mistake and has a fun, friendly demeanor.

I highly HIGHLY recommend their Bo-berry biscuits for anyone who wants a sweet treat. They're easy to rewarm and have for breakfast with some coffee, or as a yummy dessert after a meal. This place has the best biscuits I've ever had, they taste homemade, they're buttery and flaky and cloud-like soft inside. The chicken is nice and crisp and has a wonderful spice to it. I really love their sweet iced coffee and Bo-tato rounds too! Honestly everything I've tried here, from all the sides to the breakfast sandwiches and the sweets, everything has been delicious!
