HEALTH HAZARD: Avoid Philly Steak & Wing of Davenport at All Costs
I feel compelled to warn the community about the deplorable conditions and appalling customer service at Philly Steak & Wing of Davenport, located at 39859 US Hwy 27, Davenport, FL 33837.  My recent experience with this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise against dining here to protect your health and well-being.
Hazardous Food Quality
I placed an order through Uber Eats for a five-piece chicken wing meal, specifically requesting well-done flats with ranch powder and Carolina Gold sauce on the side. What I received was beyond unacceptable: the chicken wings were discolored, emitting a foul odor, and appeared dangerously undercooked, posing a serious health risk. The ranch dressing was provided in pre-packaged containers instead of the freshly prepared dipping sauce I expected.
Abysmal Customer Service
Determined to address the issue, I visited the restaurant in person, hoping they would rectify their mistake. To my dismay, the staff displayed a complete lack of accountability and concern. The gentleman I spoke with refused to acknowledge the problem or offer any form of compensation, behaving as if my order was irrelevant. Despite informing him that I had been a loyal customer and had previously refrained from leaving negative reviews in hopes they would improve, he remained indifferent. Even after consulting with the cook, they refused to remake the order or provide a refund. Frustrated and appalled, I left the inedible food on the counter, documenting the incident with photos and a video recording, which are attached to this review.
Unsanitary Conditions
The establishment itself is filthy and reeks of grease. Upon leaving, my clothes were saturated with the unpleasant odor, making me feel the need to shower immediately. Such an environment raises serious concerns about the overall hygiene and food safety practices of this restaurant.
Negligence Towards Customers
It is evident that Philly Steak & Wing of Davenport has no regard for its customers’ satisfaction or health. Their unwillingness to correct a simple order of five chicken wings, even when faced with losing a loyal customer, showcases their blatant negligence. This level of apathy towards patrons is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

The meals were packaged in Styrofoam containers and the fries for the full sandwich were packaged separately, which was nice! We ate the fries on the way home and they were delicious! They were hot and seasoned with seasoned salt - so good!! THE SERVICE: I placed my order online and scheduled a pick-up time. I arrived at the store at the exact time of my order and there was only one other person in the store, they were waiting for a delivery order. I did have to wait a few minutes for my order to be prepared and the person at the cash register was giving the cook a bit of a hard time because the order was not ready, but I think there was only 1 cook in the kitchen and I understand that, so no big deal. THE RESTAURANT APPEARANCE: I was only in the dining room and it was clean - things were slow, so I guess we picked the right time to go. The menu offered a large variety of food and drinks. I am interested to see if other menu items are as good as the cheesesteak, so we will return. I'm not a Boba tea person, but my daughter is, so I'd like to take her to get her opinion. We thought the food would be the same. WE WERE WRONG‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ They are 2 very separate restaurants owned by 2 different people! We ordered onion rings based on the picture on their website & the fact it said they were hand cut. Well, they weren’t & they looked nothing like the ones on their website. We also ordered 1 pepper cheesesteak & 1 mushroom cheesesteak. Both were ordered with green peppers ~ both were wrong. Both subs had jalapeños peppers instead of green peppers. BIG DIFFERENCE‼️ I called & spoke to the owner, he told me his name was Kyle. When I told him about the onion rings he said they use frozen, in a box, onion rings. I asked him about the pictures & description on his website. He got a little angry & said he’s not an IT guy, he doesn’t know how to change the website and that they don’t use it anymore anyway. I then told him about both cheesesteaks being made incorrectly. He told me to bring the order back & he would refund our $40.00. While that is great, I told him we’re about an hour away (with traffic) & we weren’t going to do that.
