I like to file complaint about service me my family and my friends was received today in your restaurant.
Service today was light way to say not good and fare a way from professional. After we done with dinner on the way out someone was yelling to me can you stop please, when I stop and turn around I see waiter who ask me why I give him small amount of tip? I let him know this is what I decide to give him, he get aggressive and let me know this is not fare and I have to give him more. I let him know this my design about amount I feel to tip him and he let me know if I don't like something I don't have to come to this restaurant any more he and rest of the waiters will not serve me anymore. I continue to go outside but he was running behind and yelling I pay for taxes and I use this money for living. For more information he was yelling and screaming on the middle of the restaurant when lots of your customer was eating and talking looks like to me he try to get attention from rest of your guest.
I have group of question:
1)Why lady who work upfront don't stop waiter and keep his pressure under control.
2)Waiter right now has right to say to regular customer don't come here anymore we will not serve you.
3)Do I responsible for his pay check.
4)How person with this type attitude work in customer service.
We are your regular customers who come to your restaurant at least 3-4 time a year for many years.
After today I don't think so we will come to your place anymore.

We were visiting Half Moon Bay for the first time (our main destination being the beach) and decided to have dinner here before our 2 hour drive back home. We entered the location and weren't even greeted by the receptionists, instead felt an awkward silence as they just stared at us. One finally speaks up and asks how many sitting, we say 4 (3 adults and 1 toddler), she walks us to a table with 4 seats and not once offered a booster or high chair for my 2 year old. And mind you, I can clearly see another child in a high chair. We sat for about 7 minutes and no one came by to offer drinks or anything. We finally get water for each, still no bread and no waiter to take our order. Finally get a waiter and he is not very friendly, not very attentive. A different waiter brings us bread, but our table had no plates. My 2 year old can barely sit on a regular chair and reach table, so my husband decides to ask receptionist for booster as her co worker forgot to offer one. No apology, nothing, the employees just had no manners. I don't know if we were being treated different because of our looks or how we were dressed (mind you was casual, not even beach like), but maybe they assumed we didn't have the money to afford their food since everyone else was dressed more formal. Either way, we felt very unwelcomed that all we wanted was our food to eat as quick as possible, pay and get out of there. And yes, we left a lousy tip because we didn't get the service we expected. Read moreI wish I could give it more stars. My biggest challenge is that I had heard so much and expected so much. It did not deliver. I like the little cafe they have that's around the corner, so I had hopes the restaurant was going to be good. I read the reviews and I talked to some people and was looking forward to a nice evening. From the minute we arrived it was a disappointment. The couple who arrived before us were offered the opportunity to sit in the dining room or in the bar. We were not given the same consideration, and were shown straight to the bar. Not sure why we were not afforded the same options. The dining room was almost empty and looked quiet and very relaxing. The bar was loud and uncomfortable. Our waiter was excellent but he could not save the meal. We started with Calamari Fritti and the prosciutto e parmigiano. Both of which were very good. The calamari was very fresh and lightly battered. Special fish for the day was really salty. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. The only thing on my plate that was delicious was the broccolini. Someone ordered the pasta and it was overcooked and mushy. The sauce was salty. Someone else ordered a steak and it was rubbery and chewy in the wrong way. I had hoped for a wonderful evening.
