What a great bar! We walked over there after a wedding Nextdoor at Maverick house. Everyone was friendly and by the end of the evening, everyone at the bar was talking to everyone at the bar! There were no strangers, only new friends.

I don’t drink mostly anymore…(migraines) But I was sorely tempted by the Guinness. The chicken wings were spicy, which I love.

Most excellent evening and I’m glad I discovered this bar

WARNING: the San Mateo County sheriffs are out in force in this area. This was a Monday night and at least 3 of us got pulled over. Have a designated driver, or crash in one of the motels or hotels nearby. Don’t drive drunk or high. Call a friend. Call your Mom. Call an Über. A DUI will screw your life for over a decade. Also, take the keys from anyone who is intending to drive impaired.

[This public service announcement has been brought to you by me. I was run off the road on my motorcycle by a drunk driver in 2007. I spent a month in a coma at Stanford. I won’t go into the gory details, but I know what I’m...

OPL used to be kind of a dive bar years ago, but since they've upgraded the facilities to include a great back patio / event space, and upgraded the menu from the 'let's-just-fry-everything' approach, this place has really come alive again. Although on a busy night, it will take some time to get your food, the menu is improved. The folks at the bar are friendly and happy to pour whatever floats your boat. Lots of TVs with sports events from all over going on. But my favorite is the back area and the event/performance space. It's just the right size, the stage is well-constructed, the sound is great no matter where you're sitting or standing, the fence keeps the ocean breezes at bay, there's a nice, but smaller, bar out there as well. The only thing that can be a challenge, especially on a busy night, is the bathroom situation - just one for guys and one for gals and they are both small, so there is a wait there in the hallway pretty much at all times. These days, though, I'm a big fan and recommend seeing...

I recently visited Old Princeton Landing in Half Moon Bay as part of a wedding party, and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences of my life, all thanks to Noah. From the moment we arrived, Noah went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible time.

Noah’s attentiveness and friendliness made us feel right at home. He was quick to respond to all our needs and always did so with a smile. Whether it was making sure our drinks were topped off or ensuring we had the best spots to enjoy the live music, Noah’s service was exceptional.

What stood out the most was Noah’s genuine care for our group. He made sure everyone was having a great time and even went out of his way to accommodate some last-minute requests. His hospitality truly made the night unforgettable.

If you’re looking for a place to have a fantastic time in Half Moon Bay, I highly recommend Old Princeton Landing, and be sure to ask for Noah. He’ll make sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Noah, for making our...

I came here on a whim because I was hungry on my drive up north to a meeting in San Francisco and needed a dog friendly venue, which this place is. What a pleasant surprise! The manager was super personable and knew the menu in great detail. My partner and I had fish tacos and the Thai Curry, both of which were delectable, with the curry being our favorite. The atmosphere is inviting to families and has a cool surfer/fishing theme to it. The back area outside is particularly nice with plenty of seating, a nice overhang for shade, and CORNHOLE! I enjoyed the food and time there so much so that on the drive back down the coast I stopped back in for dinner and a beverage.

Cashier was really nice and friendly. We got the loco moco, fish and chips and the poki appetizer. The fish and chips were good however the batter for the fish was a little bit soggy. The chips were great and well seasoned. Loco moco was a little bland. The poki was fresh however was a little too salty for my taste. Overall the food we got was below average , but still giving them a five star because taste is subjective some food might be salty for me and might not be salty for other people, and some food might be bland for me and can be flavorful for others.

We had lunch here. The food here is unfortunately underwhelming and rather expensive. $20 for chicken sandwich, and sadly they use cheap thigh meat rather than chicken breast. The chicken sandwich tasted rather bland. $20 for 3 fish tacos, and there’s no avocados on the tacos, and no side salad. They charge 4% credit card usage fee, which they don’t tell you ahead of time .
