Nae Nae's — Restaurant in Halifax Township

Rob and I were leaving Halifax from visiting our daughter that moved up there a couple of weeks ago. We had a 3 hour drive back home and hadn’t eaten anything yet that day, not even a cup of coffee. We stopped at Nae Nae’s deli across from McDonald’s knowing they stopped serving breakfast around 11:30 am this morning and I was still in breakfast mode. Suffice it today, Nae Nae, Lynette and the other young ladies made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Although they normally do not serve breakfast, Lynette went above and beyond and bought eggs at another store just to make Rob and I breakfast sandwiches!!! Never have I experienced such kindness and friendliness from owners and their staff. The sandwiches to go were also phenomenal!!! The Reuben and pastrami and Swiss were delicious!! Thank you so much Nae Nae and everyone there!!!! We definitely will be returning when we visit our daughters. And I recommend for anyone to stop by as their meats are fresh and delish! Goodbye Subway, Hello Nae Nae's. Just a tad bit pricey than Subway, but we'll worth the few exgra dollars. Their buns are exceptional, not like the dried out stale paper buns at Subway. The soups are exceptional. However, the kind of soup varies each time I go there. But I'm never disappointed. The employees are friendly and jovial. The lady at the cash register that takes the orders establishes a rapport with her repeat patrons. They have good customer communication skills, unlike the confused know nothing employees that stick to corporate franchise rules at Subway. Nae Nae's will customize your meal any way you want it. You will not go away hungry either. The size of their subs are huge. I'm always having to take the other half home to eat it later. You won't be disappointed...

If you leave full, that is your own problem. These hoagies are packed full of freshly cut meats, cheeses and veggies. We ordered 3 different hoagies and each one was spot on, including my vegetarian wife's veggie hoagie. Not only is everything in the hoagie fresh, but the roll is next level. I highly recommend the white seeded. It takes that Italian hoagie to the next level. As someone who travels for work extensively and eats out way more than I should due to traveling, this place ranks right up there with the BEST sandwich shops. The owner, is super sweet as well and is pleasant to talk to. You can feel the passion and care towards her employees, patrons and business operations. My only regret is not stopping in the first time...
