This cafe is very nice, the front area (facing NE 3rd St) is small but very homey. It makes you feel right at home, like your gathered around the kitchen table. The back area (facing the parking lot) is larger, with five tables of 4, and the restroom. The layout is nice because you can choose which atmosphere you prefer. We loved the chicharrón sandwich. It's not the typical crunchy chicharrón, but it's very savory and, together with the pickled onions and the sweet potato, it's a winning combination. The service was excellent, and the owner made us feel like part of the family.

This place is a great addition to the area, and it's likely going to be our go-to place in Hallandale.

The free parking in the back is very limited, but there's a bit of paid street parking at front, and a large paid parking lot a block away...

If you’ve never had a traditional Peruvian breakfast, prepare to fall in love. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and the rich aroma of freshly brewed Peruvian coffee.

I ordered the Desayuno Lurin — crispy pork, tamal de chancho and red onion salsa on fresh bread — and it was out of this world.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service was fast and friendly, and every bite tasted homemade with love.
